Dave, it didn't take me long to calm down. I know life is way bigger than a television series. And no matter what I say, it's beyond my control on the schedule of this getting done. I recognize that. I guess I needed to vent since it's something that bugs me every time I scan my DVD...
Well, no, wait a minute, Dave. It's been over two years since I bought the set. I think I'm entitled to a little anger exhibition for being treated this way as a customer. Mind you, I'm not so angry that I advocate a boycott or something. I just think it's terrible how this license has been...
Good grief. Hurry up with Season 2, already. I don't care what it's got on it. As long as it's decent in the video/audio departments. It's beyond silly how long I've had to wait since buying the first season right off the bat to encourage the remaining material to be released.
It's gotta...
I prefer Gamerankings.com to gauge the general buzz. I don't trust any one review site in particular. Usually friends with similar tastes or renting is the best review.
For those of you who own the DVDs: Are there English subtitles, or at least closed captioning? I'd love to get the set and share it with my dad.
Thanks in advance!
I tried to install SP2 four separate times. Caused me to have to re-install Windows XP from recovery disks because apparently my eMachines laptop has a security feature on the AMD chip. I was stuck in a continual re-boot loop as a result.
I wonder if people realize that EA will probably try to charge for online use now that they'll be the only ones with a NFL license. They did want to do that before, but Sega already had set precedent with free updates. That barrier isn't going to be there anymore.
Mine: 1) Halo 2 (I can't stop playing it on Live) 2) Ninja Gaiden 3) Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (HK-47 ruled) 4) Halo 5) Chronicles of Riddick
Perhaps MGM doesn't understand that releasing "niche" films in non-OAR is basically pissing money away. Because any fan of those movies is going to want those products done right. Losing money from releasing unwanted product + losing money in weak sales = MGM executives on the hot seat. It's...
Halo 2 Ninja Gaiden Half-Life 2 Star Wars: KOTOR Doom III Deus Ex: Invisible War Fable Thief III Full Spectrum Warrior Rainbow Six 3 Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow Psychonauts Dead Man's Hand Counterstrike: Code Zero Starcraft: Ghost Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Prince of Persia...
Personally, I'd rather see SG-1 continue the series, regardless of a silver screen film or not. I thought the original movie was "o.k.", but when I caught a couple of SG-1 shows last November, it started growing on me. So much that I wanted to see more. And more. Not a week goes by that I...
Ed, check out Link Removed. I've had Live since launch. After a few years of PC gaming online, I find Live to be a fresh breath of air in terms of simplicity and keeping cheating to a minimum. Everyone else has made their points. I'm sure for each person, it's a case of "YMMV", of course...
1 - Halo 2 - Splinter Cell 3 - Panzer Dragoon Orta 4 - Return to Castle Wolfenstein 5 - Morrowind (Just missing the cut: Brute Force and Rallisport Challenge.)
FYI, Madden has been delayed to the same date as the Sega game. Sega really needs to ensure that their box art looks drastically different than EA Sports, though. The last few years, it's been easy to mistake one for the other at first glance. I hope Sega does go with the ESPN name in the...
I've found RTCW has much better netcode than UC. And I used to be a big fan of UC. I haven't had any problems with lag. The first day, had a bit of stutter, but not since. I now host my own, though. I'm on a T1 or better line, and I can host 14-16 people with no reported lag (non-dedicated)...
