I'm not happy with the 53TW53 due to lack of 720p and computer friendlyness. I jumped the gun and bought it without doing more research. Now I know I want 720p capable tv for my xbox and I'd prefer a tv that's easily computer friendly. First question: I bought my Panasonic 53TW53 at...
Oh wow, it's finally hit me!
3 LONG weeks ago I went to SEARS with a $1,600 price match. Of course they have a new policy, and denied me teh pricematch. I was so amazed by the set (the one I have currently, is older then myself!), I instantly bought it for their price, and I figured I might as...
Joe, nice, nice, nice!
I don't think the system matter at all.
The only thing that matters is the developers, as they either make you love a game, or hate it.
I stick to the good guys, such as Squaresoft and will support em in anyway I can.
If you're going to spend ~$200 on a card, you can get the Radeon 8500 from www.newegg.com for $197. It's white/box non-retail, but newegg is excellent. I guarantee it will work, and if it doesn't, new egg wont give you a problem.
Also, newegg carries refurbished cards, and you can yank a nice...
I liked the Panasonic, 'cause it looked a lot clearer and sharper then the others by a long shot. I know that you can't comapre 'em if they arn't calibrated, but for a store unit, the Panny looked AWESOME! Definatly the best on display by a LONG shot. The Mitsubishi looked pretty good too
Today I finally got the guts to go to my local SEARS to take a first look at the 16:9 ~40" widescreen TVs.
Was it total luck or what?
Right next to each other were:
Hitachi 43"
Mistubishi 46"
Panasonic 47"
All the HDTV 16:9 playing DISH HDTV channel
Wow. I was amazed with all of 'en. The...
Every site I go to practically says a different weight and demensions.
I need to bring the TV upstairs. I was wondering what the minimum size I can squeeze the TV up.
30"x58"xAnything"
How much does the actual TV weigh?
Does SEARS move TV upstairs?
Thanks!
I'll just do a brief writeup:
Normal TVs use 600x400 Resolution (correct me if I'm wrong). This is how many dots horizontally and vertically there are that produce individual color.
Most people view their monitors at 1024x768. See the large difference? Try setting your monitor to 600x400, and...
Well, the difference is: the 42H81 is 16:9. It's a bad ass widescreen beauty that I've been pondering for the past week.
I'm debating over either this, or the Panasonic PT-47WX49
I'm getting:
Toshiba 42H81
Building a new computer. What's the best video card for using TV?
My main question:
Lots of people say a Computer to TV with DVD playback blows away any standalone player.
What do those people use to connect computer to TV?
Thanks!
