Shawn, Have you may want to consider the package fromRocket Tykes from AV123 as well. I have not heard them but from what I have read about them they seem to be a great bang for your buck setup. The guys at AV123 also have a some receiver options as well.

Allen, That is a good question but don't forget that clothing and furniture also can act as a filter.....it does absorb smoke. :)

Good question Craig. I was thinking that maybe if AV123 were to come out with a PC speaker system that maybe these little guys might be a good base to start from. They could be used with a PC right now in a 5.1 setup with a receiver and a sound card with a digital out.

Hi Craig, How far apart do you have these little guys spaced? Are you filling the whole room or using a smaller portion of the room for your listening? How do you think the Tykes would work out in a 2.1 setup with a receiver and a PC? Might be a nice desktop option as well.

Hi Rich, Congrats on your 2900......I just got mine a couple weeks ago....sweet machine. You might want to check here for an explanation. I leave mine on.....there is too much bass in the off position for my room. Have a good one.

Rob, do you really beleive that Swans would create such a rumor in order to drum up sales? The fact that AV123.com is no longer going to sell the Swan Divas due to the trade dress issue should be clear enough to most people that such a "rumor" wouldn't be a very wise business decision on the...

Congrats on the purchase Miles. The VTF-3 is a very nice sub indeed.

I have heard the Swans M200 and for 2 channel they are real sweet....definitely better than any other multimedia speaker I have personally heard to date. I used to own a Klipsch Promedia 4.1 system as well, for what it's worth.

Tom , how do you feel about sub position in relation to taking measurements? Should they be in the exact same spot or would side by side as in our testing be sufficient?

The VTF-3 was in max extension mode. At 10 hz....the sound was....crap.....yes on both subs. :)

In my opinion, for the money Link Removed look great. They sound just as good too. :) The Onix Rockets are real beauties as well.

Just for the record the Rocket by Onix speakers are not "formerly Swan Divas". They are totally separate. Swan Divas as well as the Rockets represent a good bang for the buck. I've read good things about Norh as well.

My guess is that they would sound quite different than the Divas....they use the Vifa XT tweeter. They look sweeeet.

Nitt0, I'm sure if you email AV123 they will definitely give you a package price on the setup you are considering that will be hard to refuse. Make sureyou do this before you make your final decision. The Divas are real sweet, especially for the amount of money you pay.

This might be a stupid question but how does one go about viewing a spoiler?

I believe the change was made to accomodate entertainment centers and such. I don't think that there are any real sonic differences, at least none that would be heard by the average ear. There might be a couple of people over at AVS forum that have heard both.

Just for the record, I had one of each of the drivers. I got my 1st sub in the middle of Dec.( probably one of the last of the old drivers) and the 2nd around the 10th of Jan.

Congrats Joel.....beauty setup,(those R3's look huge)hit them hard for about 100 hours or so......you're in for a treat. Any chance of getting some side shots of the 6.1's......I love looking at the different grain patterns of the Divas I've seen on the net. I hope to get some pics of my setup...
