Game looked great, too bad they use the same cam for sd and hdtv (this is true of all networks though atm) as there is so much wasted space...I want to the the defensive backs, not 20 yards of empty space behind the qb.

Dual was a nice short series, very enjoyable. I got kinda bored around ep 6, but 8 changed things ALOT and I really ended up enjoying the rest of the series.

You're right, its not HD. Samsclub lists the model number as CFT3090 which is the analog version compared to the CFT3090HD...still a good price and mighty tempting for people who just want it for dvds. http://www.akaiusa.com/products/tv.htm

Has there been any news as to when ADV might release either Full Metal Panic or Rahxephon? I know they announced their acquistions of them awhile ago, plus a bunch of other series that were running at the same time have been annoucned by other companies (Chobits, etc)

Heh, at first I was worked up bc I thought Family Guy was 50 bux for only 8 episodes...looks like we are getting both season 1 and 2 for 50 bucks, not bad...cant wait to get these and for the next seasons to be announced ;p

I believe ABC is doing Madeleine L'Engle "Wrinkle in Time" as a tv-movie and it supposed to be out in 2003.

There is the Spring Special and the 3 episode OVA Love Hina Again. THe spring special is aweful in its animation and the story is so so. The OVA has different animation, it looks more manga like...the story is again ok, but better than the spring special.

Dvdplanet has Akira Kurosawa's Dreams up for preorder at 3/18/03 !!! Here is hoping this is for real and we get confirmation from some dvd news sites soon.

Here is another vote for Lova Hina, I really appreciated it more than any Tenchi. It is one of the funniest series around. Though I would say stay away from the Spring Special (COuld they have drawn the characters any uglier?). The OVA isnt bad (I like the more manga drawn characters-Speaking of...

The best buy deal I believe is something like, buy PF and JB and get the non-collectors ed of From Dusk Til Dawn or something like that.
