We just purchased Grinch, Shrek, and Chicken Run on DVD for my daughter. All have DTS and DD. My HT system is both DD and DTS compatible. I have always leaned towards DTS if given the choice (see The Haunting on DTS!). Does anyone have any thoughts on this subject? Thanks.

Mike D, You answered my question perfectly. I do hook the DVD directly to the receiver. Therefore when I choose DVD on the 595 I will get audio optically right from the DVD. My questions are becoming fewer and fewer... :-)
