Yeah. Usually they give you the workout of a phone interview just to see if you're just as interested in the job as they are in finding someone.
One thing to consider is that when working through a recruiter, most of the time the company will communicate via him or her. The downside is that...
I wouldn't think it would be offensive because it's a fun thing to do. Not really a derogatory situation.
Although there are always people who read a little more into things than they have to.
It's probably the interlacing of the signal.
When you have camera movement, you get those little jaggies because the image is unable to keep up. The lines of resolution are being alternated instead of shown at the same time.

After having visited Sony Imageworks a couple months ago, they've digitallly removed any brief sign of the twin towers. Since the movie is coming out after the TT fell, It would be more accurate since the movie is to be considered "modern day" :)

Let's say that you were a scientist investigating a claimed paranormal experience (a haunting of someone's house) I suppose your average skeptic would walk into the house, check some floorboards, wiggle some lampshades and find something wrong with the structure of the house. After a few hours...
Have you ever either hated or avoided watching a movie because you associated it with someone you really didn't like, and then (after some time and distance) come back around to viewing the movie with newfound appreciation because the association between the person and the movie had grown stale...
What's up with the Spader reference?
If I was a director and wanted a boring, asshole character
I'd hire him, but I digress.
I know Pitt didn't have too much to work with with Meet Joe Black, but just picture Spader in that role.

Got a sealed copy of Pearl Harbor for Christmas. Don't really want it, but would like to try and trade if I could.
I don't have any real needs, but I'll entertain any offers. :)
If anyone has a copy of Snatch they'd like to part with I wouldn't mind either. :D

I think I'd go with a scene in The Omen 2 where the woman (forget her purpose) is attacked by a crow in the middle of the street. Along comes a semi and smacks her full on! The funny part is that they continue the shot by shooting a dummy like 30 feet through the air. It's just hilarious when...
Hey. I was just browsing my local Circut Sh*tty and while browsing for something new to buy, my eyes stumbled on "The Party" !
I've been waiting for this one to come out on DVD for awhile since it's one of my favorite Peter Sellers/Blake Edwards movies because it's so light. It's also a great...
I'm right up there with everyone who liked the film, but I think I responded to the stage version a little better. Heck there was even one of the better songs left out. :)
The stage version, I think, had a little more humor to it only because there was more interaction with the audience that I...
Just out of curiosity, I was wondering how many of us focus on the classics. Out of your collection, what # of them are pre-1980 movies? I know. Maybe I should make it pre- 1970 movies, but I'm just thinking in terms of DVD. People tend to consider anything without DD 5.1 to be archaic...
I had the same problem with Gladiator, but not with the movie. It's the extra disk that won't play. I've tried it in tow different players to no avail. What's up?

Here's a question
I haven't gotten around to getting a progressive scan yet. I own a Mitsubishi WT-46807.
Now I've been using the line doubler. If I were to get a progressive scan player, would I have to disable the line doubler feature? Is this what I would use to compare the two?
Forgive...

Kelly,
The space expansion is going to be released a few months after the initial release, (hence the name "expansion"
To begin with, the game will be primarily world based.
You sure you can wait that long?
