    Godfather Blu-ray Confirmed

LOL. The large pussy wasn't mentioned in the movie, but Sonny Corleone's large unit was hinted at in the scene where Lucy Mancini was gesturing how large it was to the other ladies at the wedding.

Pioneer Elite Plasma deal too good to be true?

I think the deals are just straight up B.S. It's just not worth the hassle. The only way I would even consider buying something as shady as this is if I could use my credit card. And, I'm not talking about charging it to PayPal either. That way, if you don't receive the merchandise or if it is...

    I finally got BB coupons

I remember when Best Buy used to give out not only 10%, but also 15% and even 25% off coupons. There was a 25% off coupon that someone had posted a URL to about 1 yr ago. I think there was a 5 DVD limit for that coupon.

Why The Term "Joe 6 Pack" Must stop being used

I agree with Joe. I think the world is already filled with too much political correctness. The truth of the matter is, as others have already mentioned, EVERYONE is a J6P in one field or another and I also have to say that EVERYONE discriminates. It is a fact that certain people want to feel...

To Anyone Familiar With Digital Cable

In my 2 experiences with digital cable (AT&T and Time Warner), I've found that it is used NOT to deliver better picture quality, but to compress the hell out of everything in order to deliver a whole lot more programming that I would never watch. In both cases, going back to standard analog...

Watership Down: Possibly unmatted on DVD? (Not confirmed)

Has anyone been able to find a copy of this DVD for sale? If so, where? None of my local Best Buy, Circuit City or Fry's Electronics carries this title. Thanks. Glen

Watership Down: Possibly unmatted on DVD? (Not confirmed)

Was Watership Down ever released in the theaters? My first recollection of watching this excellent movie was on TV in 4x3 AR when I was about 10 years old.

    Any Non-HDTV 16x9 televisions?

I have a 57" Pioneer Elite 1009W which is a 16x9 non-HD set. I have also seen a 40" Samsung 16x9 LCD monitor which I think only had 480p resolution. The Samsung was about $2,500. IMO, 16x9 TVs are getting cheaper and cheaper to the point where it makes no sense to buy a non-HD version...

Help: Best HDTV 53" for $4000CDN

Actually the non-Elite Pioneer SD533 is a 53" TV set that has practically ALL the performance of the older 510 Elites. It uses the same excellent line doubler with 2:3 pulldown detection and, unlike the 510 Elite, the 533 allows you to change aspect ratios with anamporphic signals. For a...

HDTV and DVI: A Very Important Article

I can't believe I'm getting drawn into this, but, Tyler, you really need to educate yourself on this issue before gloating and insulting people on this message board. Please note the following: 1. Your assumption that your plasma display (or should I say, your dad's plasma display) is...

    Is DVD killing film societies?

I don't know if it's just me, but I swear it seems like more people are rude in the theaters nowadays than when I was a teenager. Back then, I almost never had to tell people to be quiet. Now, although I hardly go to the theaters, whenever I do, there are ALWAYS people around speaking...
