Three words: excellent, excellent excellent. i bought mine from amazon.com and love it. I first saw it a while back at Vulgarthonthon and really liked it. Vincent Pereira (aka Vinkie to the AICN savvy) really knows how to tell a story. As for the DVD, the picture and sound are great, too...
Sorry, fellas, this is an amazingly cruel hoax. Just got off the horn with a VERY reliable source, and he said this is bogus, as Warner Bros. has not officialy said anything about a anamorphic widescreen release of Wonka. Too bad, it was on the top of my most wanted list. Oh well.
