    What horriffic timing...

Nice. :rolleyes Everyone has points - the risk was there, and buyer beware. But Warners is in the wrong (too) for having waited, and if they were even reasonably sure of going one way or the other, should have been up front instead of this "we'll support both for now" bull.

    Siskel and Ebert: Resurrected

http://www.aintitcool.com/node/33784 Ebert did not get rid of the thumbs; Disney is the one responsible.

Some 'UGLY BETTY' DVD episodes are in the wrong order.

As I thought (although, I didn't think the wrap around was bad at all). It would have been nice to have had those included as a bonus (they did so with the Farscape season two premiere on the Starburst edition DVDs - had both the "unaired" original version of the episode in place and then the...

Some 'UGLY BETTY' DVD episodes are in the wrong order.

A question on Swag. Per the earlier post, it has been moved to it's original position when it should have aired. However, I remember when the episode first aired, it had some obvious "wraparound" scenes filmed later that were used to make the episode a flashback. Are these scenes still there?

    TV Guide Acquires TVShowsonDVD.com

I see a lot of good ideas for the site throughout the thread. I, personally, hope that this somehow might lead to the "reinstatement" of the alterations/changes/edits list and information.

    Tina Fey's "30 Rock" season 1 thread

Tracy's character is growing on me. As mentioned above, whether it is an act or Tracy Jordan's true perzonality, not knowing makes it bizarre and fun to watch. As for Liz being a mean boss, that was kind of out of the blue. I'm not sure I really bought into that. I'll need to think on it, though.

    Numb3rs season 3 ongoing thread

Is it me, or is Diane Farr starting to show? They seem to be hiding Megan behind coats and desks and lamps a lot. I'm guessing they are not writing the real life pregnancy into the show. My folks were complaining last night that there are't enough female cast members (and that females are...

Family Ties coming to DVD in 2007?

I think you may be thinking of A, My Name is Alex. According to Epguides.com it is a two-parter that aired both parts on the same night in 1987. It is a fifth season episode.

Star Trek in HD - with revised special effects?

Well, I'd be a lot happier about this... "news"... if I knew for sure Paramount wasn't going to milk it for $100 a season set (and also not pull that crap with the exclusive bonus discs at certain retailers).

Battlestar Galactica Season 3 (Oct 06)

I don't know if this, http://www.syfyportal.com/news.php?id=2825, bodes well for seeing the Battlestar Galactica: The Resistance "webisodes."

It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia: Season 2

I laughed my butt off during the second half of the "Charlie Goes America All Over Everybody's Ass" episode. I couldn't figure out what the heck was with Charlie's little song, though. Hilarious when he came out and started beating people away from the street performance. I'm also kind of...

Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip - Season One

Same here. I watched it via NetFlix and liked it. Of course, as good as The West Wing was in the early first season, it really didn't kick into high gear until they started the MS storyline followed by the Shariff and reelection storylines. I also wonder where Sorkin will go from here. But I...

Ditto that. I sent nice e-mails to both with the idea of abandoning the bonus disc thing. I wonder what the response will be.

When I saw Tom Kavanaugh in the episode, I paused the TiVo that I was using because I realized I forgot to program the other one to get Love Monkey on VH1. :D

    Teachers.

I give the show five weeks, if NBC doesn't pull it earlier. Of course, that's just based on the first episode and not any ratings. Good to see Matt Winson and Sarah Alexander (I miss the good Coupling, the British one).

I didn't watch the show until episode three. My brother saw the pilot and recommended it. But I didn't have the energy to bother with episode two. So, I see episode three, loved it, and - boom! Canceled!

    Joey -- Season 2 (Submerged)

I like Joey, but don't love it. There's something missing from it, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's because I'm tired of them playing around with the Alex and Joey relationship - after 10 years of will they or won't they on Friends, I'd like some resolution. Maybe it's a few...

    Arrested Development season 3 thread

I laughed pretty consistantly and loudly throughout those two hours. If this is the end, I will really miss this show. Loved Nellie's discussion of her rules to the company, similar to GOB's threat (from Afternoon Delight). I just really didn't see the twist about Lindsay coming at all...

Saturday Night Live - 31st Season

I enjoyed it. Not as much good material as previous episodes in the season, but it was a nice way to end a Saturday night. Maya Rudolph looked very pretty, and it was good to see her back again.

THE LITTLE MERMAID Platinum Edition: October 3rd, 2006

Thanks for the list. That was what wasn't making sense to me - that the press releases mentioned The Little Mermaid as the eighth Platinum release, but all the lists said that six had been released thus far. Now I see that Lady and the Tramp will be seven. I guess I was under the mistaken...

Quantum Leap Season 4 - who is going to get it?

Not I. After seeing what they did with season two and three (that, and Universal won't admit to the wrong opening credits on season one's Play It Again Seymour, but that's another topic whatsoever)., I've opted not to get anything after season one I love the show, so it's painful - but I got...

    Smallville Season 5 thread

I am forced to disagree with Gary. The show is it's own unique take on the myth of Superman by combining a variety of elements from previous incarnations. The only guarantees are the Lex, Clark and Lois will live long and healthy lives. If they change a few things around from other incarnations...
