Freddy vs Jason definitely has a first class transfer and I don't think I've seen it done better.

Troy: Yes the gunshots sounded just right, definitely nothing wrong with the 5.1 track, just a bit loud.

I got mine saturday, so it's definitely coming soon. I was surprised at how LOUD the 5.1 track is. Usually I have to turn the volume up a notch with Columbia titles, but with Underworld I actually had to turn it down a bit. The 5.1 track is awesome though and so is the movie. :emoji_thumbsup...

I got my Gift Box friday and I'm absolutely loving every bit of it. The new cut of the movie greatly improves upon the theatrical cut in my opinion. There is more humor in it and the characters are a little more fleshed out. The Gollum statue is very nice, but I don't think you will be able to...

I have a feeling that a R2-UK release of this would be widescreen if ever available. I'm still getting the R1 season 1 though.

I think I read somewhere they plan to release it at the same time as either Elektra or Daredevil 2, which should happen in 2005. So I wouldn't hold your breath for this one. :)

DVDFile reviewed the Edko version of Hero and the reviewer said that it had the best dts track he had ever heard. Plus it's a full bit-rate dts track.

Is the transfer of The Thing anamorphic in the new box set?

I have a 100+ PAL DVD's and I have never experienced any speed-up problems. I gonna purchase the r2 versions of the 3 mentioned movies and I'm gonna like them. :emoji_thumbsup:

I have the danish r2 release from scanbox and it is indeed anamorphic.

Seems that the region 2 UK release of Smallville coming out on october 13 will have 5.1 sound on all episodes along with the same extras as the region 1 set.

I read somewhere that the show went widescreen in season 3, any chance the DVD release of season 3 will feature anamorphic widescreen?

Now that I'm done watching season 2 I desperately need season 3. Anyone know when this is coming out? With 4 months between the first 2 sets could we hope for a january or an early febuary release..

My Season 1 box had the collector's coin but no Bonus DVD.

The R2 release of They Live doesn't look cropped to me.
