Tom & Ron are right.
I think there new driver is better then the mass 12 and if you went the DIY way you would have to build a pretty big enclosure which would probably be bigger then the SVS CS Ultra sub.
If i had a choice between a SVS CS Ultra & a mass 12 incher i would for sure %100 go...
Tom,
Since your a master at DIY why dont you buy two mass2012 S24 woofers from audiomobile & buy the samson s1000 pro amp from svsubwoofers.com and you will have two verry good sounding subs & it may get close to the svs from what iv'e heard.
Would cutting a hole in sonotube to mount a plate amp on to it be a good idea ?
And how thick should i make the endcaps ?
would 1.5" be good just get two 3/4" slabs of MDF glue them together then cut the holes for the woofer and port hole ?
What are the advantges for the EBS alignment for the shiva ?
And is the EBS alignment best suited for home theater applications ?
Has anyone here used the EBS alignment ?
If so did it do a awesome job for home theater ?
Thanks
COOL THANKS.

I own a Hsu VTF-2 and it sounds awesome when it was in my little room but now i have moved to a new house with a HUGE room and i dont get that same kind of deep loud bass i got in the smaller room.

One day i when i'm older...
