Ron - my wall isn't 2 feet thick - the TV is!:D I will pick up the extra space by moving the TV behind the wall. It's not a load-bearing wall and is only drywall and exposed studs in back. Should be fairly simple, but would like to see other examples or read anyone's experience doing this.

Any opinions on wall mount speakers? I need to put two speakers high on opposite walls near a bar area in my basement. No subwoofer is possible in this area. I have a pair of JL N24's on my deck outside, and they are ok. Price range under $500 or so for the pair. Any thoughts?

Cutting the treads might be my last resort. I might be able to tip the TV on it's side and maneuver it down, but what type of problems do I induce by doing this? Wow! Where's this info from? For me it's Leone and everyone else - nothing even comes close. Death Rides a Horse, A Bullet For the General were fair. I thought Django was kind of a joke, but I was able to get through it. Still waiting to see the Great Silence.

My A40 arrived Friday. Now I just have to fight to have OfficeMax correctly bill me - they charged $50 too much. Looking forward to using the camera at Christmas.
