Access Hollywood is showing footage from the Donner version today. This is according to someone who posted yesterday they had seen tidbits. From imdb.com

That's a bit of a downer. In the UK, almost all VCRs and TVs support PAL/NTSC. I have no idea why American retailers rip off people like this.
