A friend of mine had very simular problems. No strange arcs, but everything else was the same. He had a tech come out and determined that it was the convergence module. Doubt they can fix a ten year old RP. Not sure????

Hello everyone. I have some theater seats that I want to sell. I live in Shady Hollow in South Austin. They are very clean and in good condition. Although they are old they came out of a church, not a theater. I am fixing them up but have to sell them because I sold my house and have to move now...
The PE 250 would work just fine. That is what I'm using. Just build yourself a box for it. Either sub that you decide to make will be loud as a mother, you just need to decide if you want it low and rumbling or tight and crisp. Sounds to me like you want a low thunderous tube. If so you will...
Oh, The 18" sono sub w/Shiva cost $324 dollars to build and I know that Home Depot has precut mdf end caps and I'm sure they would probably cut some to your dimensions. That way you wouldn't have to buy a router, but it is really easy. Really! You could do it. Don't forget your ear plugs!:)
I've built two sono subs. One 24" w/Tempest (16HZ)and one 18" w/Shiva (20HZ). I basically went off of Patman's sub design, but changed a few exterior features and, of course, volumes. They both turned out great! It really depends on what you are looking for. Deep thunderous bass or tight AK-47...
James, I had the same problem. Lee is saying that you need to connect a wire (ground) to the electrical system of your house. That is, the cable coming off of the feed horn must be connected to the common ground. Pick the nearest outlet and take the screw out of the face plate. Connect the...
I don't understand why you have the STB hooked up to the HDD. I take that your TWC box is Hi Def? I would hook them up separately. Why don't you try connecting the STB separately to the AVR and then to the TV on its own input (and do the same with the HDD) and see if that helps the audio...
David, You can have as many of the video inputs you want hooked up. Most AVR's will look for the best signal (component) first and then go down until it finds the next best signal (s-video)depending on how you have it hooked up. So you could use s-video out of the HDD to the s-video in to your...
1. Matrix - because it is to DVD as Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon was to CD. It is simply a must have.
2. U-571 - Thunderous bass throughout, and besides, you need to log a few hours of time on all those new subs you've built. This DVD will break them in.
3. Brave Heart - Great story...
"it's just a single plug, no different from a standard RCA though, just only one of em"
Are you sure? Check the length of the plug with another set of RCA cables.

Who Dat!
Sounds like it could be a cable problem. Are you using a single phono plug or a dual red and white rca plug?
If you have the speaker hooked up in parallel and it is hooked up to the terminal cup on the inside of the sub, just take the red and black wires of of the amp and hook them up...
