I find myself surprised (and disgusted) at how many of my "old fart" friends listen to TALK radio! They don't even seem to care about music anymore. They don't even try to keep up. If they have a party, maybe they will put in some old Eagles or Jim Croce cd's.:b
One thing that has not been mentioned is the quality level of the rest of kuttas system. What receiver and speakers do you have? Maybe the $200 563 is a good match. No use buying the Denon 2900 if the rest of your equipment is not at that level. You might not even be able to tell the difference.
I caught that. I really enjoyed most of it. Eric Clapton was great! Also enjoyed Ray Charles and Leon Russell. Norah Jones looked like she was enjoying it. Diana Krall picked a good song for her style (was it "Crazy"? my memory is bad) I think Willie has jammed with just about every musician on...
What do you think of the little teasers they had with Nina? First Andy asks about her husband, then later a brief shot of her and Delia working at something together (forgot what it was) and looking very mother and daughter like. That was touching at the end where Ephram says to Amy "I am home"
Rachel, why do you need subtitles? Don't you hear what the whale voices are saying? They talk to me all the time, and in multichannel. Yes, the whale voices are everywhere.....
Thanks Robert. Wow, I really missed a good one. Wonder how Amy is going to react to the seizure. Well, I guess that depends on the outcome of the seizure, which was pretty major.
I missed Everwood two weeks ago, I believe it was 4/22/03, and I must have missed something that happened between Ephram and Colin, because of the tension at the dance on this episode. Can anybody fill me in? Any guesses as to where the next show will go with Colin's seizure?
I just saw Tish Hinijosa at a free outdoor concert as part of Ft. Worth Main Street Festival. She is an Austin based singer/songwriter and sings in both Spanish and English. She has a charming, relaxed, friendly stage presence and a wonderful voice. She has numerous CD's out, mostly on Rounder...
I just ordered a new release by an up and coming folkie named Lizzie West. Couldn't find it at Best Buy so I did Amazon and got Rosanne Cash's latest as well. Anybody heard Lizzie? I haven't yet, but it got good reviews, so I figured what the heck...
You should probably get some Jefferson Airplane, Greatful Dead, Byrds, Animals, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Paul Revere and the Raiders (OH JUST KIDDING;) ) If you want to side track a bit from the hippie history, you could check out Motown.... I was there in the 60's...
