    BP's ~ 1001 & 1201 Drivers

Geoff, I just finished a sonosub with the bpd 1001 10" and I am very happy with the results. I put it into a 34" tall 12" diam sonotube and I think it sounds great. It is currently powered by a little 75 w amp and it still shakes my windows in the living room. How it sounds to me is about the...

I found the fabric at a fabric store down the road, I had looked around and couldnt find anything, but a lady there asked me what it was for and when I told her it was for a speaker she new exactly where to go and showed me this. It was a little stretchy and I did have to sew it together so...

Cheap Sub Now? Or good sub Later?

How bout a cheap-good sub now. I just built a sonosub for a little money but I think it sounds great. There are a lot of resources out here and you could have it done way before your tax money comes in. Then again you could do a diy AND buy the SVS when you have some cash!.

Before I took it out i plugged up the vent and pushed on the driver and air was comming out from around the driver. After I sealed and weather stripped i couldnt find any big leaks. I also cut some of...

    Help with Sub noise

The driver is pretty tight, but I am not sure if the sub is air tight, it is ported. How can I check that? If it does have leaks will that cause these kind of problems? Thanks.

    Help with Sub noise

I just finished my first sonosub and hooked it up to my old plate amp last night. At first I thought it sounded great, but then I noticed a vibrating distorted noise coming from the driver. When I touch the dust cap or rubber surround it stops, but as soon as i let go it starts again. Do you...
