My setup is a Samsung DVD-HD950 outputting 720p via an HDMI cable to a Panasonic AE700. Anamorphic dvds look great but non-anamorphic titles look stretched out. It's probably a setting on the player doing this but I can't figure it out. Anyone know why I'm not getting these to display properly?

I haven't framed one like this before, so I'm looking for ideas. It's acrylic on canvas, a lot thicker than theatrical posters. The things I've framed in the past, I had them dry mounted and framed with glass. I've heard that plexiglass may be a better way to frame archival type stuff, though...
