It seems to happen fourth or fifth time I play it. And of course it is in a game when I am kicking the CPU's butt! I don't have this problem with other titles (it did happen once or twice on NFL2K1) Has anyone else had this problem?

I run an 27TX (which has the same ratings as the 39TX) with M&K 750's. These are 4 ohm. I have had no problems and the sound is great. I think you would be okay/happy with the MMG's mated to the Elite. However, every where I've read Maggie people state they really open up with more power.

Keith, It maybe the disc. I get the same sound that you mentioned. My center isn't the same as yours but, I get the same results. I am not convinced that your center speaker is lacking. I believe the disc to be at fault.
