Rampage coaching again? And with Evans so that's not even going to be a title match? I believe he should be the next in line but oh well... I think Lidell vs. Machida would be an interesting fight but unfortunately poor Chuck hasn't been his good old self lately.
I was finally able to watch the Evans vs. Machida fight. A friend had recorded it in his DVR. Man, what a knock-out that was. Machida doesn't look like he has a lot of power in his hands but it seems he actually does. Evans just dropped like a sack of potatoes. So who's next for Machida now...
BTW, does anyone know if it's possible to watch the UFC PPVs legally on the internet? I know that some soccer games that are usually $30 on PPV can be found for $10 on the internet and it's all legal. Anyone know of anything similar for these UFC events?
I know...John Connor was a cool kid...this Thomas Dekker seems like a dick, LOL. I didn't know he was in the Freddy Krueger remake. I wonder if he's going to have the Johnny Depp character...
bastards! same goes to the writers of the show for having a very good idea that the show was going to be cancelled and yet they decide to end it with such a cliffhanger! And Fringe is moving to Thursdays???? Damn it! Bunch of bad news!
Yeah, you would think that having a brand new Terminator movie would do wonders for a TV show based on the movie events. Fox should gamble a little bit and green-light a 3rd season. Maybe new fans of the Terminator movie won't get enough and start watching the TV show.
Oh wow, I didn't know Thiago walked around at such a high weight. In that case, yes, Swick is completely right, why not fight at a higher weight division so he doesn't have to lose so much. That's gotta take a toll on your body sooner or later right? But that explains why Thiago looks so...
Let's ask the question in another way...is there anyone out there that would make you put money on beating Fedor? Re: GSP vs. Silva, that's a good point of view. I definitely see the interest of MMA fans like us but I also see the UFC point of view. I guess only time will tell.
I believe the reason why it looks like it has nothing to do with the first 1/2 is because the first 1/2 was supposed to go hand in hand with the short season 2 but because of the writer's strike, they had to end that earlier than it was supposed to. So season 3 was supposed to start with the...
Wow, I've been out of this thread for a while and a lot of good stuff has happened since. So now that Fedor took care of Arlovski (loved that mid-air TKO), can anyone beat this guy? What do you guys think? Re: UFC 94, I unfortunately missed the Guida/Diaz fight. Too bad about Nate losing...
That was a good, creepy episode. Reminded me of that X-Files episode where Mulder and Scully go up against this inbred family. I think the name is "Home" if I'm not mistaken.
Finally got a chance to watch the last 2 episodes (19 and 20) and I was impressed. 19 definately was going for that CSI vibe and the cool thing about it (besides Sheppard dying to save Earth) was that it actually had something to do with the series finale. And I agree, the series finale...
Glad that Bob won the whole thing. But I was a little surprised to see him so tongue tied during the reunion show. Jeff Probst was having a hard time trying to get some words out of him. Sugar was also deserving of winning the whole thing because she was the brains behind this whole thing...
At first I thought that the heroes were going to be the fugitives but if Peter goes back to his normal life being a paramedic and Claire looking for colleges then it can't be them, can it? Maybe the fugitives are really the villains that escaped from level 5 which I thought was going to be the...
I had problems with my DVR so I only started watching right when Bob won the immunity challenge and boy, was I surprised to see Sugar give Matty the immunity idol. Kenny's look of surprise was funny as hell.
Agreed. This is some of the best stuff I've seen on Supernatural. IMO, this is one of the best, if not the best season so far. I mean, angels and demons battling it out? How cool is that. And even better is that one brother is doing a demon and the other an angel, lol. Really, really good stuff...
I did have to rewind it once in order to figure out what the experiment was so I guess I do understand the confusion here and I agree that it was poorly edited. They shouldn't have use that rag/little curtain to cover where his hand was going. I think that's what confused most people.
Asking what is the meaning of the apple while totally ignoring the huge fact that the dude was able to put his hand through a safe was funny as hell to read, LOL.
Wow, very cool episode. I liked that they kept Doomsday's appearance to a minimum. Save the big fight for the season finale. So many things going on...Lana's back, Green Arrow acting all weird, the Louis and Clark soap opera, Doomsday finally making an appearance and Lex? These new writers...
Fitch and Koscheck will be missed. I don't know the heavyweight dude so I can't say much about him. So how's the schedule going to work for B.J Penn? He's defending his belt against Florian but doesn't he also have a fight against GSP? That's one busy guy.
Casey, re: TUF, totally agreed. That shit is just too much and is getting out of hand. UFC 91...wow. I'm surprised and at the same time I'm not. Randy had a big mountain to climb, literally and he tried his best but Brock is just too strong and he throws bombs. So there is the potential to...
It was odd to see Gabriel and Elle in the "villains" camp. They've been making them out to be good guys this season. I guess they'll switch teams later on in the season? So Claire is the catalyst? Interesting.
