My husband and I saw this together and we absolutely hated it. The audience we were with actually booed at certain points so I would not recommend a blind buy. If a directors cut comes out some day we might rent it since we are both big FF fans. Why? Did you see those films? I haven't seen...

So..Matt, do you have confirmation on this date or do you owe Tino an apology? BTW, I'd rather see this on DVD sooner than later but recent reports are now leaning towards the latter. Just wondering which date is the correct one. :) ------------------

I read through this entire thread too and of course it was started due to the recent tragedies. Why else would it have been started? To complain about a thirteen year old edit???

I agree with you Tino. This DVD is great and it's also my favorite version of the film, as I also own the LD. :)
