Can you guys compare firmware versions on players which do/don't play gold CDs? Latest FW version for RP91 is 2.36. It's easy to upgrade at home.

I use ZOOM mode for 4:3 material on my Panny 47". It doesn't distort the image, but crops top and bottom parts, and TV allows to scroll picture vertically.

Don't worry Mark, most of us were in your shoes. At least now job of convergence alignment is much easier than before. My first RPTV was analog Sony, and that was real pain to put all of those color lines together. My Panny should arrive in a couple of weeks, can't wait much longer...
