Hey all, I currently need to sell off some items that I have had for a while. First up is a brand new in box Toshiba HD-A2. I recently received this as a gift and have no need for it as I already have an A2. I am going to throw in 3 FREE movies: Children of Men (Viewed once, excellent...
Wow, it seems a lot of people are disappointed with the film. Not only here, but the fanboy central Super Hero Hype Boards. I still haven't seen it yet, but I'm hoping I enjoy it and I am still trying to fathom this movie being as bad as some say.
Watching this movie a second time on DVD a few months ago made me like it more. As long as you check your brain at the door and just enjoy the ride, you'll find it at least a little bit fun (in an popcorn action flick way).
I agree with you Tim, POA is by far my favorite of the Potter series. Everything really came together for this film. The direction, editing, score, visual effects, etc. were all top notch. The story also was intriguing with the time travel aspect. The only downside I would have to say is the...
Sounds good. I have only seen the Trek films once or twice but I will definitely check it out again on HD. Also looking forward to what else was said in the chat whenever the transcript is up.
The problem is that the difference between a good upconverted dvd and HD is not as big of a difference as VHS to DVD was, unless you have a huge 100+ inch screen. Like, for me I can tell the difference but I know a few people who feel the difference doesn't warrant the price of HD-DVD or Blu-ray.
Well, I got an HD-A2 on December 30, 2006. I got a heck of a deal with the 12% off coupon at Best Buy plus 2 free movies, Mission Impossible Trilogy (yes, trilogy) and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, so basically four movies free. Plus I used gift cards on the whole thing and ended up...
Ahh ok, I guess I'll stay away from the JBL. I think I can muster up a bit more cash, I'll just be broke for a little bit...lol. But what about the Mirage S12 which I can get for $499 shipped or the PB10-NSD which is around $475 shipped? Also, I"ll be using this for movies and music so I...
Hey all, I need some advice. I am in need of a subwoofer. I had to sell my 25-31CS+ due to new furniture in the family room and the fact that the 25-31CS+ just stood out a bit too much and I didn't have room for it. So, considering I'm a college student and I just got into HD-DVD which has...
I havne't watched all of SR, but I did preview selected scenes and it looked great, just like it looked in the theater. I'm using a straight HDMI to HDMI connection and an HD-A2.
Overlooking my pricing I decided to lower everything a bit. Sub/Amp Combo new price: $400 for the Sub/Amp combo...plus shipping costs. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- JBL E30 price lowered by $15.
First up for sale is the SVS 25-31CS+ with a Parts Express 500 watt amplifier. I have had the SVS/Parts Express Amp for almost 2 years now and have never pushed it. I also did not use the sub for one of the years I've owned it due to the waiting of my family's house to be built, so it's been...
In my quest to upgrade to HD-DVD I decided to start downsizing my DVD and Video game collection. Most of the DVD's and Games I am selling have been watched once and are in good/great condition. All prices include shipping, so there is no additional cost. DVD's Fletch (Out of Print)- $30...
The problem with that kind of thinking is that your average Joe most likely doesn't see a big difference. Many are happy with DVD's quality. I don't see DVD going anywhere for a long, long time.
