I searched and found this old thread & want to add my comments. I got my first glasses with transitions lenses about a year ago. It will be my last set with these lenses. The lenses do darken fairly well when outside, I don't have a problem with that. They also lighten fairly quickly when moving...
I just wanted to put this out there where others may find it with a google search. It saved me a lot of money and hopefully someone else can benefit if the information is on the web to be found. Note that many of the brands listed, and more, use a Peerless transaxle. In my case it's a...
And I thought Zoom was the ONLY one. I would love to see that Discovery DVD. As far as Zoom goes, gotta love the Gallagher lookalike guy in the audience! As already mentioned great sound quality to listen to, something great in Rosie (and the violinist or cellist, can't remember) to look at...
If I have HDMI video hooked up through my receiver (H/K) the receiver won't allow any other audio other than HDMI. If yours is similar, and since it won't allow HDMI audio, perhaps you can't use the HDMI input for video.
Hi CliffA, I'm in a very similar situation as you. I have the AVR-8000 and am considering getting a new receiver to update to the newest sound formats. I really love the 8000 and really don't want to get rid of it, but I have a 65" Toshiba 1080i only TV and I want something that will...
What model # is she supposed to be anyway? My wife asked the same question. I replied "She's the new T&A model." That was good for one of "those" looks.
I second the recommendation for Toyo's I did a lot of research about 6 months ago and everything led to Toyo Proxes. I couldn't find them locally so ended up getting them from edgeracing.com. I got 4 215/55/16's (Proxes 4) $377.28 to my door. These are by far the best tires I have ever...
Any one else seeing "breakup" of the graphices at times. Mostly for the first few seconds of the race and pre-race. The breakup is first noticeable on the pre-race text. The text seems to "tear" horizontally. Any other graphics tear also. I first played using my computer monitor through a...
Agreed. I've even had it as a wish list on my tivo for the past 9 months. I'm amazed that it has never recorded! Surely somewhere, somehow, somechannel, it's been on...??
Thanks for all the replies. And to think just a couple weeks ago, Best Buy had stacks of them in their center display. I'm glad I'm not the person responsible at Sony for this snafu :b
I was set on buying a ps2 this weekend but can't find one in stock ANYWHERE! Not even at the usual internet sites. I know it's only 3 weeks till Christmas, but it's hard to believe there aren't any in stock to buy. Anybody know what's up?
Never read the book but really liked the movie. Went with four other people and 4 out of 5 gave it a big thumbs up :emoji_thumbsup: My wife gave it a "just ok". Funny thing is, there probably weren't even 50 people at the 1:15 showing in Green Bay. One of the first times I can ever remember...
Keep trying I did and finally figured it out. Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Recovery Did a system recovery back to the beginning of July and presto! everything back as it was. I only mention this as I'm sure there are others out there like me that aren't masters of...
Well, I did a virus scan and turned up nothing. Also did a scan for spyware and turned up nothing unusual. I had a customer come in and wanted to show off some custom kithens we've done in the past but couldn't get them to open properly. Good thing I had printed off some photos previously...
Thanks Zen, I really hope it's not a virus... I am able to open these folders, however I need to right click on them and them choose "open". The default right click choice seems to be stuck on "search" which I can't seem to find a way to change. I was really hoping this was going to be one of...
Thanks, but I have the same problem with anything that is a folder or file folder. I actually did create a new folder and transferred the photos but ended up with the same problem. Still at a loss....
I don't know what I did wrong, but starting yesterday, whenever I left click on the my pictures folder, the "Search Results" window opens instead of the folder. If I right click on my pictures, "search" is highlighted with open and explore below it not highlighted. I can right click and choose...
Another vote for Midnight Oil, should be required listening for every mixer/engineer?. A third for Blue Man Group, although I lost use of my Tempest after a work out with this disc:D
I got my tempest back (april 29) It only took two weeks or so for them to get it back to me. It was either replaced or repaired under warrantee. I don't know since there was no explanation. They even sent me a check to cover the original shipping expense. Thanks Adire!:emoji_thumbsup:
Many of you probably know about watching the Wizard of Oz while playing Dark side of the Moon in sych. Here's a link for those who don't know about it. http://www.turnmeondeadman.net/DSotR/Intro.html I recently got the new cd by g'uster (keep it together) and was surprised by the lyrics on...
Wendy, I used to have a Yamaha DSP-A1 for several years. When the newer sound formats started coming out, the upgrade bug hit. I ended up getting a H/K 8000 which I've been extremely happy with. The Yamaha was a great unit that I hated to get rid of but it was showing some signs of age at...
