....Well that's ONE easter egg down... i havent found any on my own yet.. looks like theyre hidden pretty darn well!! Someone post them in this thread if you come across more!!
Yeah, the transfer is dark and grainy- but there's no excuse for not noticing that 'DOUBLE widescreen BARS' thing... what the hell happened there?
As far as Fox "pretending" like Chris Carter approves of this mess,.....it looks to me like they're opening their own X-File and you HTF'ers are...
Have either of you seen THIS? I just ordered one, I think it's the same thing i've seen bootleg VHS copies of-- but they were 3rd and 4th generation dubs that looked awful. This is apparently a Region 1 NTSC release

It's supposed to come factory pre-set to operate my SONY receiver, but I can't even get it to operate a function as simple as "test tone" right out of the box. Now, I realize that i can make it learn many of the functions of my STR-DE925 remote, but I didn't think I'd have to go through all of...
Yeah, i've been reading Anchor Bay was putting it out in late 2002 (around Halloween) for a long time now....
it's still on Anchor Bay's release schedule as well:

They update their site quite frequently, including the list of "future titles", so...
Your not alone in your concern Dave, i too thought i'd receive the "LADIES" book...... oh well, chalk another one up for the AB marketing team.
I personally found consolation by hugging my amazingly flesh-like, squishy and smelly BOTD packaging. But that's just me...
This was the movie poster i saw during its theatrical release.
The pink background version was from some print ads (i think) and is identical to the Soundtrack cover. Personally i think both are great for the dvd. I can't wait to get it...and i too am hoping for a BV double disc set.
A. I'm with you Jay, My Bloody Valentine is seriously one of the loudest rockshows i've ever been to...(and one of the best too imho)
B. Put me down for the 'uncut' Bloody Valentine film as well... (also one of the best in the genre imho!)
I've had consistently good success by ordering my X-files sets from http://www.directvideo.com i believe that is the URL... and they DID have all the sets on sale for 77.97 plus shipping, actually i think they still do.
I just pre-ordered season no. 5.
I'd be willing to wager that only the TINS and lithographs will be "LIMITED"..... and they'll reissue the discs themselves in double amaray boxes. .... of course it's just a theory, based on PAST Disney dvd "limited editions"
:rolleyes
Doesn't work on my SONY either. This is a first for me,....it's never occurred on ANY disc prior to DUMBO.
I'm guessing it's just how the geniuses at Disney (Buena Vista) authored the thing....wacky.
At first, i thought "wow, this guy's got BALLS" and I almost respected him and his manner of expressing himself honestly.....
that is, till i got to that last line...now all i can ask myself is "what kind of douchebag gets SO worked up over a freakin' FORUM?"
That is a sick bastard who doesn't...
Found these on http://www.darkdreams.org if anyone else cares:

2. Balance 2:45
3. No Escape 4:03
4. White Darkness 2:46

Anyone have an idea of the tracklisting for the CD that comes w/the ltd. edition version? Or has someone possibly made a nice cover that we can download??
I guess you probably would have had to have owned the soundtrack in one of its previous incarnations....(vinyl only?)
I apologize if this...
I think Mark McGuire summed it up pretty nicely in a quote I heard on tonight's news something like " any team or any franchise that even thinks about taking the field this weekend is crazy, it's asinine to even consider"
I like sports too, but this weekend, there are other things to reflect...
Max,
I'm glad I'm not the only one who is feeling it.... I have plenty of new horror to watch and can't seem to muster up the ambition to watch ANYTHING (other than news) really...
I think I'm going to postpone my film addiction in conjunction w/the current 'sports stoppage' for this weekend...
Chris, you knew the movie wasn't REALLY a documentary right?
I bet you hated Bottle Rocket and Rushmore too. Que sera, you're definitely entitled to an opinion...
A word of advice, whatever you do, DON'T have your friends over for a "BEST IN SHOW" screening!!
Props to you my friend, for posting the info on the packaging. I've been trying to find out HOW they could manage 3 discs in a double amaray.... which led me to continue worrying that they might be in some other new convoluted oversized hunk of (expletive deleted ).
Many, many, mad props...
