I would be very surprized if this wasn't identical to the feature disc on the previous release, only loosing the extra's-disc. That's the way it normally is with the 2-disc L.E.'s > 1-disc releases in Japan.

It's been released by Panorama in the US as well, probably the same transfer as the HK, which I find serviceable (but I would love a better release). The HK relese is non-anamorphic widescreen.

The extended cut was shown in China, and is legally available on the Chinese EDV format (no English subtitles). It's one of the titles you get with the Shinco EDV-8830 player.

If you buy the R2French Les Triplettes LE from Fnac, you'll have the added bonus of Chomets previous short 'La Vieille dame et les pigeons' (The Old Lady and the Pigeons; approx 25 minutes, and very good. No English subs, but not really needed), I believe exclusive to the LE at Fnac.

From reviews on various boards, the R3HK release is non-anamorphic, while the R3Korean is a straight port of the Japanese release with added Korean subs.
