I was wondering if there is a particular chronological order that the shorts on Animatrix should be watched in. I have watched a few of them and if you hit play all it seems to me to start at the end, then go to the beginning then the middle. At least thats the way it seems to me.

I don't think you'll have any problems with your center causing damage to your tv. I myself have my 20 pound Energy c-2 center sitting on top of my 55" Toshiba (along with my wifes knick knacks) and I haven't seen any damage to it yet.

Another vote here for TIVO. We got our Hughes DirecTivo at Best Buy last year at Christmas for only $69 and it was the best money I have ever spent. If you have DirecTV it is the best way to go. They are right when they say that you will never watch tv the same way again.

I don't know why people on this forum bash Kenwood either. I have a Kenwood VR-4090 and I really like it. But as was said earlier it all depends on everyone's individual tastes, how it will sound to you and how it works and looks

I'd have to say UHF and Showgirls are two that I tend to keep hidden.

I'll second those Altec Lansing ATP3's. I think they sound awesome and the plastic housings don't seem to color the sound.

I would agree that while you are there you should definitely run 2 pulls of CAT 5 to every room. Pretty soon everyone is going to have whole house home networks and you will be glad that you did it now. If only firewire cable wasn't so expensive it would be a good idea to run some of that also.

Try looking at Ikea if you have one in your area. I like the look of some their A/V racks and they are really cheap.
