Yes, the LD was a bit soft...and I can hardly wait for the DD 5.1 anamorphic version! The extras on the LD were many, so many in fact, that I would be surprised if Disney puts all of them on the DVD...but you never know. Even though the story may not appeal as much as some of Disney's other...

Devoid of plot and script, but yes, XTSY is unedited...(ok, ok, I had to try it once!!). It's a bit pricey at 9.99 a hit, but if you're interested in this kind of thing, it beats renting at a video store.

It's very confusing on the program guide for Dishnetwork...some of the shows are marked HD and some are not...but on the ones that aren't marked HD, some of those are letterboxed, and look HDTV to me! Also, Dish's guide lists the Sopranos as HD, but according to the HBO website, it's not...

I just bought the XBR400 about 3 weeks ago, and could'nt be happier. For the money, the XBR400 was the best set for me...the picture is stunning, it's a 36", DVD's look great on it, and it has a lot of really nice features. We watch a lot of regular tv, and since they didnt have a direct view...

Just from looking in the archives and posts, it appears that I'd have to buy alot of equipment besides the tv in order to enjoy hdtv on dss...at least with Dish. Do you have to buy 2 dishes with Directtv also? I wouldnt mind investing in dss equipment, but I really don't want 2 dishes...is there...
