The 985 changer you refered to is actually a 400 disc unit. I just got one and finished putting most our dvd's in it. The unit is currently "loading" the disc info. So far the 4 discs that I have sampled have come up ok and the sound and image quality is pretty impressive. I got mine from the...
I just can't seem to get any OTA signal strength at my location so I am giving up on terrestrial HDTV and will stick with a Dish solution. This card and Audio Authority Model 9A60 were bought from Digital Connection in January and are in perfect condition with all packing. Asking $390 shipped...
I got the Integra 8.2 with the Chad remote from my local dealer for 25% off the $2k list. I've had it for over a week now and it is pretty slick.

The 9.1 is a high grade 989 and as such is flash upgradable. All the Integra products have a nicer build quality than the Onkyo and a longer warranty. In my opinion you should look at the Interga line. If you might want seperates, look at the new Integra Research pre/pro, it is awsome...
Go to Radio Shack and by some brakets that are flat wide metal with the ends bent over to form interlocking hooks. The pack comes with four brakets that have tabs on them that lock together so they won't slide apart. It cost me less than $10 I think, center one of them at the top of the speaker...
I have the 65" version of the Panasonic an it is very nice. I think there are still plenty of these out there too. It is very big though, I had about 3/4" clearance on either side getting it through the front door. It will do 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i, native 720p is awsome, though it is hard...
I have a PT-65WX50B, this is their biggest, I think the HDTV feeds off the Dish 6000 and the Progressive DVD from my new Denon 2800 are just stunning. I will get a professional calibration next year. I also agree that they don't get much attention here or elsewhere but the one I got is very...
yes, new customers to dish can get awsome deals to get you in there. I would recommend to get all the equipment you want to start, ie: 6000HD receivers as once you are a customer you get no favors or special deals, that sucks, but I have been mostly happy with their service and support. I have...
I bought the 65" Panasonic for its 720P native capability and that mated to the HD6000 in 720P is pretty awsome. Now I just need more content.

I just got my 6000 last week and am very pleased with the SD programming being upconverted to 720P. I have a 65" Panasonic that I chose for several reasons, one of them was I planned on getting the dish 6000 for its 720P capability. The edges are far better than the internal doubler of this set...
