Awesome Q&A! I loved watching TSMM growing up as a kid. My sister got into TBW because of the female lead. Between the two shows, it made some happy littler brother & sister time when growing up.
I currently have the DivX versions of BBC's The Office, but I've decided to purchase the The Office - The Complete Series. Amazon and Amazon.co.uk both have it. I have a region free DVD player that plays back PAL discs, the technical issues are not a problem. I was just curious to know if...
Just finished watching it. The first few minutes during the credits looked like the movie was stretched for a 16:9 display. 4:3 setup here. After the opening credits finished the movie looked "normal" again. Pretty odd.
I was very happy to pick up NC on DVD a few months back and it brought back a lot of memories. Does anybody know or have the "inside scoop" if WB is going to release season 2? I've been combing the net and can't find any information. Tried going to the WB website, but navigating that site...
Yes the unit does have the ability to adjust the bass level by dB, but even when turned up to max on both the amp and sub (just testing out) there is almost no bass. I went through every setting I could find with no luck. I guess I'll keep poking around. :)
I recently purchased a Motorola DCP501 (discounted all one unit) and it's also my first venture into DTS. It seems that any DVD's that I play with a DTS track has almost no bass. I'll switch from DD to DTS and DD will be booming and alive, but almost nothing from DTS. I reviewed the manual...
Hi Guys! Haven't been here for while, so if I'm posting in the wrong forum feel free to move it. I recently moved into a new apartment and connected all my HT goodies and have noticed a problem. For a while I couldn't figure out what it was. I tried different cordless phones, adaptors...
I had Dawn of the Dead "Director's Cut" which is now out of print on DVD. I wanted to purchase the Ultimate Edition, but I wanted to know if one of three versions included in this box set is also the "Director's Cut" version. The box says US Version, Australian Version, and Extended Version...
"I have to sit here and wonder how New Line was able to fit all this material on one disc (including commentary, fact track, branching and DVD-ROM content) and still produce the sharpest, most colorful transfer of any DVD in recent memory."
That's exactly what I was wondering too. The fact...
Yeah I had to re-read it a few times until I got it. I'm sure he means the two-disc set has both audio mixes while the new super-duper-supremo-ultimate edition does not include a DTS mix. :)
I just ordered the E.T. Boxed Set and Back to the Future Trilogy both for $66.40 at Amazon.ca.
:D
P.S. I assume the boxed E.T. set is only available in widescreen? The description over at Amazon dosen't say.

Side note: Is the image quality of the old and 2002 identical? Meaning did they put a lot of work into the 2002 release while not bringing the "old" one up to par?
So other than all the cool paper materials added, the two sets have the same DVD content? Meaning both the original release (cleaned up, etc) and the 2002 version?
I'm debating on getting one of the new E.T. releases on DVD, but while surfing Amazon.com I came accross the "Boxed Set, 3 Discs" set.
What are the differences between the new fancy shmancy one and the standard "Limited Collector's Edition?"
Boxed 3 Disc Set...
