I came to the TV section to post a thread on this very subject! I've been going a nostalgia trip lately and I was looking to pick up Transformers and GI Joe. I was shocked to see that the sets were so expensive due to being out of print. Well here's hoping that with the new live action...
Oh man! You sold it just before some real gems came out! You're missing out on Chromehounds and Dead Rising! Not to mention Gears of War is coming out on Nov. 17th. I would have at least waited to see how that one turned out before I sold my unit because it looks incredible! I'm one of the...
Hey, just to let you know, both of those links don't display the models you listed. When you click on them it gives some "Whoops! What you are looking for is not here anymore" message. Aaron B.
As long as I can get the same quality that my TiVo records in, which is not really great just average, then that's all I care about. Like I said I'll leave the spiffy looking picture and sound to the professionals. I plan on buying what I'm going to record if they will release them. What's your...
I would highly doubt it, BUT there is a tool included with Nero 7 Ultra that lets you mix audio in 5.1. No idea what that's all about because I haven't dug too heavily into the different programs. Something that REALLY peaked my interest was a paragraph in the instruction booklet that says...
Thanks for the reply Robert! I know it's going to take a while, but to me it's worth it. There are some shows and movies on TV that I would buy in a heartbeat but they are not out yet. I plan on buying them but for now personal copies will have to do. So let me get something right here. The...
I've been wanting to burn some personal things off of my DirecTiVo for a long time. I finally took the plunge and got a pretty good internal DVD burner for my PC this weekend and I got Nero 7 Ultra. Am I correct in assuming that I can now buy a good DVD recorder and do the following: #1. Copy...
This is the kind of thing I've been running into in regards to recording on DVD from Premium channels: http://reviews.cnet.com/4864-6463_7-...33&ctype=msgid Read about half way down into the review. No this guy does mention that you might have to have a "PVR type Device" in order to record...
Hey guys, I've got some questions for you regarding DirecTivo and DVD recorders. I'm seriously thinking about purchasing a DVD+R/+RW recorder soon and I started doing some research on models. I began to read about people having difficulties in certain arenas and realized I had some issues I...
It won't take any bite out my DVD purchases. I own DVD and a Tivo and I Love them both! Tivo just makes TV a hell of a lot easier. I watch what I want to when I want to. You can fast forward through the commmercials and when you hit play to resume, it jumps back two seconds so the show starts in...
Oh come on now guys! Not to sound cynical here, but do you really think that they're going to give us animorphic CSI? I laugh at anyone who even thinks this. If they do, I will personally get on here and apologize to everyone at Paramount, and recognize they're greatness. Aaron B.
