Ron Harper (Planet of the Apes TV, Land of the Lost) passed away.

I picked up 87th Precinct years ago as a blind buy. Outstanding show! I don’t think I’ve seen a bad episode yet. Also had one of the tallest casts I’ve seen! Well…other than Norman Fell. RIP Ron Harper

How many times do you watch a TV series you have bought on DVD/Blu-ray?

I just go through each series very slowly. I occasionally I get into a show and watch multiple episodes in a week. I just did that with the original Hawaii 5-0. I watched probably 4 episodes in a week. Thats rare though. I picked up Hill Street Blues not long ago. That’s a show I never watched...

TV ON BLU BEFORE I DIE - PRETTY PLEASE

My top 3 would be Dragnet, Adam -12, & Remington Steele. The better my tv gets, the worse dvds look. The DVDs for Kojak & Hawaii Five O are pretty solid but an upgrade would be nice. It would be great to have a release of Name of the Game finally. Room 222 maybe? Yeah I know I’m pushing it...

    Trapper John MD

I hate when I think I’ve got something to contribute to a thread and see I had the same thought a few months ago!!

    Adam 12

Adam -12 & Dragnet are two shows I wish were cleaned up for Blu Ray. I hadn’t either in a while but started watching Dragnet 1970 the other evening. The picture looks decent but could use work. Two of my favorite shows.

The Old Hawaii Five - 0.

I just bought a new tv & was looking at some of my old shoes to see how they look on an Oled. I hadn’t watched Five-O in a while but got absolutely engrossed. I’d love the full series on blu ray. The dvds are good quality though.

Watching Old shows / movies on OLED?

I am considering getting an OLED tv. It crossed my mind that I watch a ton of old shows & movies on DVD & Blu Ray. Given the aspect ratio of old movies & classic tv, and the black bars on the sides, will that create burn in? I usually only watch an hour or two each week but sometimes get on a...

    Best 55” inch TV?

I’ve looked at the Vizio M7 & M8 but while both are solid, neither reviews as well as the 2019 model I had. The Vizio Oled is definitely a consideration. I’m also looking at the Samsung Neo Qled tvs. Sonys are pricey but LG might be an option. When I bought my first flat screen tv, it was a...

    Best 55” inch TV?

I had to move last August under duress. Lousy landlord. Bottomline, I boxed my tv up very quickly. Just a large U-Haul box & I didn’t secure on the truck. It was a disaster. The tv has sat in storage until this past week. It’s a 55” Vizio M Series Quantum (model 558-G1). I plugged it in & one...

    QM File: THE FBI (ABC/1965-1974)

I would love a complete set. I had never seen the show. Blind buy. I bought the first season half sets to try it and enjoyed it enough to want more. I admit it’s not my favorite of the 60’s crime dramas I’ve watched an I know I dozed during one episode. I definitely don’t think I enjoyed it...

Is The Candidate coming from Warner Archive?

One of a handful of 70’s films I’ve always wanted to see. Still no release?

Children's Art Instruction show from the 70's

I have no idea how I eventually found this. The show I watched was called the “Draw Man” and featured an instructor named Paul Ringler. I can’t remember how I finally found this! I saw a comment about him on Facebook though & the most positive part for me was I got to tell his daughter how...

There was talk of a soundtrack being released by LaLand records but no update in a while. I’d love that!!

Pre-Order The Six Million Dollar Man: The Complete Series (Collector's Edition) (Blu-ray) Available for Preorder

I bought the Time Life set I guess it was 12 years ago now? Great presentation but I admit I was disappointed in the image quality. I might have to get this eventually.

    Soap operas

Gosh soap were such a part of my childhood. I spent days with my grandmother in the summer & after school and she was a big watcher. I remember the Doctors but her favorite was Another World. Funny story. When I was a kid, there was a particularly grisly storyline about a serial killer who I...
