I like this movie. It's fun.

I have the Twilight Time and it is quite nice. I think this is a powerful film with powerful performances and very progressive for its time.

I'm wondering whether to get this or not. I'm tempted, but all of the above sounds like an ominous warning.

Marie Dressler is the reason to watch the English version. I can't get enough of her.

I believe the 1936 version on Criterion is intact as it was released. I also believe it is the best version. The MGM version is good, but the 1936 version is superior.

If you bought the Blu-ray for 8 $ your digital copy was automatically upgraded to 4k. If they don’t include the criterion extras why get It?

My jaw hit the floor when I saw the color and clarity of that first number. It looks so good you almost forget what a mediocre film it is. Virginia O’Brien once again is electric and steals the whole movie.
