Personally, I almost never buy discs upon their initial release anymore, as the initial prices are higher than I am willing to pay. The days of first week discounts are long gone. I wait for a price drop or sale instead - - or opt for the digital streaming version if it hits my price point first.
I have 10K points, so enough for 10 movies. There is just nothing I have any interest in with the April offerings (I already have Everest).
Hopefully Universal will be true to their word and offer a decent selection of films in June.
The email states that Universal will be offering extra movies under the rewards program in June. I would rather wait to see what is offered than use rewards points on films I have no desire to watch.
Today, I received an email from Universal informing of the end of the Universal Rewards program. Here is the text from the email:

We were at our beach club in SC during the eclipse. Several folks had glasses, so we did get to see the 70% peak. It was pretty cool. Didn't get dark at all, but the temperature did drop -- but that was probably more because the afternoon wind picked up coming in from the ocean at that time.
It's only supposed to be 70% here in South Carolina, so it's nothing for me to get excited about. If we were back in Michigan, it is supposed to be 98% at our house, and 100% within about a 30-45 minute drive.

Are you sure you have Dolby Vision enabled on your Sony X800m2? With that player, it has to be turned on/off manually, and when it's on, DV is active for all video -- even non-4K material.
