Purchased the Sony Tv and the Bravia Sync works fantastic! My Bell Satellite receiver controls everything no complaints this far. This was definitely a learning experience. A huge thanks to all!!

I think its time to upgrade the Tv its 6 years old. Although this is becoming expensive it will be worth it in the end. I think I got a good deal on the receiver and I am happy with the way it sounds. Who doesnt like a new tv anyway.... lol. And I also like that I will be able to use the Bravia...
What if I was to connect all my HDMI directly to my tv like I had before the home audio purchase, and connect the audio optical out on my tv to the optical in on my AVR?
I TOTALLY understand the meaning of the handshake its unfortunate its this difficult I wonder if the HTIB would have been this hard. I understand if its messed up at initial set up that means the world. But it shouldnt be this difficult to repeat with success
I dont understand what you are asking in the first post. I unplugged everything from the wall waited 30 min. I connected my HDMI cable from my Satellite receiver to the Sat HDMI on my AVR. I then connected my HDMI TV Out from my AVR to my Tv's HDMI 1. I turned on the AVR waited for it to snap...
Sorry for my stupidity, the plugs are behind my fire place so it required moving it to get to them. I have moved it and unplugged everything and unplugged all HDMI cables from the AVR. I think what else may be the problem is as soon as I plug in my power bars or switch them on the Bell Satellite...
Didn't work, I powered everything off and shut off both power bars and unplugged all HDMI cables. Reconnected all HDMI cables powered on receiver, then TV and Satellite. Ran through the set up steps calibrated the speakers and everything came on normally. Shut off Satellite receiver and powered...
