THE OUTCAST is one of my favorite films from director William Witney. Later in the month, GRIT will be showing Witney's SANTA FE PASSAGE with John Payne and Rod Cameron. It's another good one.

I saw this on a double bill with VARAN THE UNBELIEVABLE back in 1962.

Sony has farmed them out to Mill Creek in an exclusive release on DVD from Critic's Choice Video and is still available. I have this set and the films look pretty good. Note that MARK OF THE WHISTLER was not included on this release.

ViaVision in Australia released THUNDER IN THE EAST on standard DVD as part of THE ALAN LADD COLLECTION VOLUME ONE. It's a great movie and I will upgrade.
