Hey.
I currently have an active 40w RMS subwoofer with a 6.5" driver. When i go past half volume the driver excursion is over the limit and looks very unstable, which i believe is why it's distorting already at half the volume. I'm thinking it's the driver not being able to push more rather...
I have a little budget stereo system for my PC. Which gives me a lot better sound than a regular pc speaker set, but requires a rather tricky setup.
It's a 2.0 stereo amplifier with speaker out for right and left channel only. The audio in is 2x RCA that goes to an 3,5mm Y-adapter. The other...
Haha, i knew this question was coming. I don't have a local dealer that sells banana plugs, and would have to order them online. Since it's soon the end of the week and the time it takes for them to arrive is about 2 days, it would be nice to try out my new amp a couple days while waiting for my...

Such as this:

I have a 6.1 home theater amp ( centrum titan 500 ) That's rated at 8 ohm. Would it work If I'd connect 5 speakers at 6 ohm each? Would that cause any strain or harm to my amp?
What's the worst thing that could happen? For example if the sub would be drawing more power than the outlet would allow, would that harm the sub or the amp, or would the outlet be the only that takes the damage?
On my home theater amp (Centrum Titan 500) i have a switced ac outlet. The outlet says ''Max 100W'' I was thinking powering my sub from there, so i dont have to power it off manually everytime i turn off the amp, since my sub doesn't have stand-by feature. My sub is a König hav-sw100 with 40W...
