oh wow thanks..... going off the blu ray in the Hayworth box set, it was an older dirty print.

this will be interesting because this film was in need of a restoration, so maybe Sony has gotten to it.

i used to be a vendor for Disney home entertainment in Toys R Us stores and would stock their endcap with these, back in the day.

i do remember this vhs line from Disney-

sad though, considering James Baskett was awarded a special Oscar for his performance and generations have missed out on one of Disney's best songs 'Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah' another Oscar winner for them (at least you can see that clip on youtube)

the only reason i got a copy of this film is that a friend loaned me her (bootleg, sorry) vhs tape and i burned a couple of dvdr's from it. the movie is really not that bad.....they need to release with a disclaimer.
