Sadly, am afraid that many of the younger generation could care less about these films. Film history....history of any kind, does not seem to matter to them.I hope I am wrong. We now see 'archive series' films presented on the horrid dvd-r made on demand discs.....yes, it's all about the money...

Agree. Will wait for some reviews before making the purchase. I have the Roan DVD, and have not shelled out $ for the Kino bluray, due to the reviews.Have learned that just because it is a bluray, does not mean it is far better than the dvd.

Aspect ratio question.TCM showed Godzilla, King of the Monsters last night.It was in Academy, the only way I have ever seen it on tv, but the end credits were letterboxed for widescreen.I never heard of GKOM, or the original Gojira, as shot for widescreen.

Third Dimensional Murder, a 3d short from 1941, was on TCM last night.It was interesting to see the Frankenstein monster, in close to the same makeup that we see in Son of Frankenstein from 1939.Wonder if Universal got any $ for use of their patented Jack Pierce makeup?

How many if you sit through a movie until the final credit?Personally, I wait until the very end, to when the screen goes blank....maybe I am weird, but in addition to seeing the movie itself, I wanted to know the name of everyone involved, not just the cast but everyone.
