I got the Onkyo HT-S5600. It's not the best but definitely good for the price and the price is what I had.
It sounds great so far and I can't wait to experience something that shows it off. What would some of those be?
I have a blu ray player, Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Wii U, and Comcast X1...
I made a topic about this last year and couldn't get the "
Onkyo HT-S5600 7.1-Channel Home Theater Receiver/Speaker Package "
due to room constraints but now there is more room in the living room. So I'm wondering, is that the best 7.1 system to get still? Please let me know.
Thanks.

I'd really like to know from you guys since I had one of my previous TVs break and needed a TV fast.
Did I make the right choice with this model?
I can't go any higher than the price (around $857 w/tax).
I mainly game on it and plan to use it for XboxOne/PS4. However I watch wrestling with...

I'll definitely ask again for other concerns as your advice was good. Thanks!
I ended up buying this, as my budget was on the lowest of low. But thanks for your input!

Should I get a device to connect them to, or a whole 'nother full surround sound system?
If I can still use those speakers and subwoofer on newer devices, which device should I get? I want a 7.1 device so I can eventually get the speaker subwoofer system for it.
I'm limited in space so I think the best solution would be a simulated surround-sound soundbar. Am I right about this?
If so, then I'd like to know what features to get.
