Blu-ray Review Godspell Blu ray Review

I, of course, have not yet received my pre-ordered copy of Godspell yet, but I can only hope that your assessment of it's video and audio is as incredibly WRONG as your thoughts on the Production. I have rarely read a review of a movie that had as many comments that were just flat-out untrue...

    Giving Thanks for Holy Grails

Ragtime on blu-ray was always at the top of my wish list (except for, maybe, The Abyss) and it was the French who provided it for me - first the Statue of Liberty and now this. It is a gorgeous package and the picture and sound is everything you could ask for in a blu-ray. Now, if they can...

The Shining on blu-ray: Revisiting the Overlook Hotel

There is no alternate or additional material in the "European Cut" or, what was endorsed by Kubrick as, the "official version". But, this brings up something that has always bugged me. I have both cuts on blu-ray, and the opening and closing credits on the truncated version includes the names...

Press Release HTF EXCLUSIVE! Twilight Time March 2019 Release Announcements

Uh, unless it's a joke (which I would never rule out) its "THE River's Edge" (the film being released on TT), not "River's Edge" (the film depicted in the picture that heads up this thread).

A Few Words About A few words about...™ Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again -- in 4k UHD Blu-ray

If intentionally mistaking Abba for Sha Na Na is truly RAHs idea of "dry humor" then, as much as I respect his opinions on which Blu-rays have the best video and audio quality, I don't think I'd seek his opinion on who or what is funny.

Sha Na Na was a Swiss band? I'll have to watch Woodstock again - they didn't look Swiss to me.

UHD Review The Quick and the Dead UHD Review

"as this is possibly the best of his movies during his post Evil Dead and pre Spider-Man period." I take issue with that statement, as "A Simple Plan" is, I believe, easily the best of his movies during that period (or, probably, any period) of Raimi's career.

    Eunice Gayson: RIP

There appears to be a discrepancy in the article, which states "The actor was born in Surrey in 1931". If that statement is true she wasn't 90 when she died.

    Clint Walker dead at 90!

I guess Mr. Walker was known primarily for his TV work, but to me he'll always be "Posey", one hell of a name for a guy like him (to paraphrase Lee Marvin in "The Dirty Dozen".

Ragtime, although as a Paramount release the chances are slim to none.

A Few Words About A few words about...™ Hell or High Water -- in 4k UHD Blu-ray

I'm a bit surprised that this has yet to be mentioned on this forum, but the disc, and the disc case, both state that Hell or High Water 4K has Dolby Atmos audio, and THAT was the main reason for me to upgrade from the blu-ray. The fact that there is NO Dolby Atmos is certainly a good reason to...
