We watched it this week, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very suspenseful and thought-provoking (I won't spoil any plot points). And, as Robert noted, the cinematography is gorgeous.

Yes, the plot is ridiculous. But I also enjoy III. In addition to the great score, it has beautiful Cundey cinematography and a moody Halloween vibe.

The 2019 theatrical presentation of TMP was stunning, both picture- and audio-wise. I bet that was the 4k master that's been used for the new releases.

I wonder if the first film is the same as the 4K previously released. On the Shout! site, it lists "original mono", and there was dissatisfaction that previous release's "mono" was a fold down.

We watched it On-Demand last weekend. It was indeed a powerful film, hard to watch, but thought-provoking and rewarding. As always, Monae did an outstanding acting job.
