Oh, I completely agree with you about subscription fatigue. I just don't agree that I should be adding the cost of my internet package to get the "real" cost of my subscriptions, since I maintain internet access regardless.
What I really like about subscriptions is that I can unsubscribe...
I don't understand this line of thinking. I've had internet access for close to 20 years. It didn't matter whether I had cable tv service, satellite tv service, or OTA "service" + streaming. Right now I'm strictly OTA and I still pay for the same speed / package that I have for the last eight...
Condorman is at the top of my list. This is one of the few films that I would even purchase as a digital copy if I could find an anamorphic HD version. I doubt Disney ever releases this film on blu-ray.
It's hard to pick a favorite, but mine would have to be "The Sons of Katie Elder". For me, it has the right blend of humor and action, with a little bit of mystery thrown in. And I really enjoy the music in the film.
Well, I just pre-ordered my first blu-ray from the WAC - couldn't pass up The Wind and the Lion. I don't often order blu-rays before reading reviews. I hope this will be a good transfer. It sounds like the other WAC blu-rays have been good, so I'm willing to take a chance on this one.
Do you have an update on the Aussie "Dolittle" (from the Hollywood Gold Series)? I'm interested to know how good the the BD is since it's more reasonably priced than the German BD.
I was on the fence about purchasing these two films. I decided to go ahead and take the plunge. Anyone have any experience with Screen Archives? I've never ordered from them before and was wondering how long it normally takes them to process the order and ship it.
