Subject: Live Chat with Warner Home Video Television and Animation
Date: Monday, April 5, 2010

(Ron Epstein) I would like to welcome everyone to our live chat. I have co-owner Parker Clack on hand to assist. This evening we are honored to have as our guests the publicity team from Warner Home Entertainment Television and Animation division. If am guessing correctly that should be:
Amit Desai – Vice President, Family, Animation and Partner Brands Marketing
Rosemary Markson – Vice President, TV and Special Interest Marketing
Melissa Hufjay McAlevey, Vice President, Publicity
Did I miss anyone?
(WarnerBros) and teams!
(Ron Epstein) Welcome aboard. We are going to immediately allow our members to ask all of you questions.
(RobbieF) My big question is about Knots Landing! I'm a huge fan of the show and was really excited with the news of the season 2 release. However, things have been quiet lately for future releases. Any news on a season 3 release soon?
(WarnerBros) no specific plans at this time...we are still looking at it.
(DavidB) Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. At this time, are there any plans to release the remaining (and hopefully future) seasons of The New Adventures of Old Christine on DVD, whether it be commercially or as Amazon exclusives?
(WarnerBros) we're evaluating different options for release.
Don't forget...Ralph Bakshi's Lord of the Rings Remastered Animated Deluxe Edition is out on Blu Ray and DVD TOMORROW!!! Go get your copy!!
(GabeL) Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your chat. Here is my question. Will there be any plans to release SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron in acomplete series box set as part of the Hanna-Barbera Classics Collection? SWAT Kats is probably my all time favorite cartoon, and I would be willing to buy a set.
(WarnerBros) Re: SWAT Kats - we continue to evaluate the Hanna Barbera classic animation library and will certainly keep your enthusiasm in mind.
(PaulMiller) Are there any eighties cartoons like Pac Man, Shirt Tales, or Fangface on the horizon for release anytime soon?
(WarnerBros) Saturday Morning Cartoons 1980's 2 disc collection will street on May 4, 2010. Featured Series Include Monchhichis, Kwicky Koala Show, Thundarr the Barbarian, Mister T and Many Others!
(KacyS) Hello, it's me, the big Silver Age WB toon fan from the last chat. I am still anxiously awaiting to see DVD sets of other 1990s WB cartoons like "Histeria!", "Detention", "Road Rovers", and "Taz-Mania". I know for sure there are a lot of people who want to see these shows on DVD.   Is there anything new to say about releases for those shows, as well as future releases of "Tiny Toons" and "Animaniacs"?
(WarnerBros) No plans at this time.
(AaronM) I was glad you started the CHiPs series on DVD with season sets. What are your plans for continuing the series? I certainly hope you are still going to keep it going.
(WarnerBros) No plans for future seasons at this time although we continue to evaluate it.
(Prentice_Cotham) With Blu-ray taking off, are there plans to revisit the Justice League Blu-ray sets?   More importantly, what about Batman Animated? I would rebuy Batman Animated hi-def form in a heartbeat. Lastly, will there be a Tom and Jerry set that has fully unedited shorts on it?   Thanks!
(WarnerBros) We are evaluating the entire dc comics animated library for Blu-ray. We're glad you love Justice League and Batman Animated! We're also looking at further Tom & Jerry collections. Look for Tom & Jerry Deluxe Anniversary Collection on June 22nd. We think you're going to love it!
(JackH) Thanks for the Lord of the RIngs animated on BLU was hoping for WATERSHIP DOWN on Blu-ray also plus some more Wait till Your Father gets home on DVD.
(WarnerBros) If Lord of the Rings does well...anything's possible...:) Based on poor performance, additional seasons of Wait till Your Father Gets Home is doubtful.
(HerbertF) Why has there been very little of the B&W WB Television shows of the 1950's and Early 60s?
(WarnerBros) We've met little success with the shows we've released (like Cheyenne). But, we are looking at potential future opportunities, in particular, Maverick.
(WhitneyG) I know Warner is looking for different ways to release Looney Tunes shorts that might attract some attention. I seems to be that certain specials like Cartoon Network's The Big Game might get noticed. Any chance you have considered The Big Game for a possible DVD release?
(WarnerBros) Looney Tunes Superstars: Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck 2 disc collections will be out on 8/10. They will have newly remastered, new to DVD shorts included! Go out and buy your copies so we can release more Looney Tunes on DVD (and maybe Blu Ray)! No plans on The Big Game at this time.
(CoreyS) When can we expect a second volume to SilverHawks?
(WarnerBros) No plans at this time.
Peanuts 1970's collection Vol 2 will be out on DVD 6/1/10!
(SimonC) Hi Warner! Are there technical reasons why we haven't seen older (pre-00's) TV shows on Blu-ray ? There are suggestions that TV shows with CGI can't be done on Blu-ray without redoing all the CG elements, can you clarify the situation?
(WarnerBros) That is correct. We want to make sure that we're releasing our product with the high degree of quality that we know our fans expect. There are some technical issues on certain shows as well as issues related to how the shows were originally shot and whether or not they can be converted properly.
(TravisH) Will Warner ever re-release their 2000s animated titles (i.e. The Batman, Krypto the Superdog, Loonatics Unleashed, Legion of Super Heroes, Scooby Doo DTVs, Teen Titans, Tom and Jerry DTVs, Tom and Jerry Tales) which were produced for widescreen (but only released in pan and scan on DVD), in widescreen on DVD in the future? I wish I could buy several of these titles in widescreen on DVD, and it is disappointing that a few animated titles I mentioned have been shown on TV (Nine Network in Australia) in true widescreen (not cropped), with several of the animated movies available in widescreen on iTunes too.
(WarnerBros) We will consider this if and when we release them on Blu Ray.
(AaronHan3) Warner, thanks SO much for including the original Tom & Jerry/Grape Ape Show on SMC - 1970s Volume 2 last October! It's more than a treat, but a blessing for fans like me who missed out on the original run on ABC Funshine Saturday in 1975-76 and grew up watching afterschool reruns (obviously altered for syndication). Any plans for a Complete Series set?
(WarnerBros) please clarify your question...complete series of Grape Ape Show?
(AaronHan3) No...Tom and Jerry Grape Ape Show.
(WarnerBros) No plans at this time.
(EricR) Are there plans to release Roots on dvd or blu-ray in its original 8 part format with missing bits reinstated? This is an important title. Thank You.
(WarnerBros) Re: Roots. We aren't aware of any missing bits and we have no plans to re-release this title.
(PeterP) I'd like to see 2 Stupid Dogs on DVD, please.
(WarnerBros) No plans at this time.
(JonnyM) Can you please consider releasing Johnny Bravo in a complete series DVD set and Seasons 2, 3, 4, and 5 of Johnny Bravo? When will Johnny Bravo in a complete series set be released? Can you please consider releasing Batman: Mask of the Phantasm and Batman and Mr. Freeze: Sub-Zero special editions both on DVD?
(WarnerBros) Johnny Bravo: Season 1 will be out on June 15th. Please buy it so we can continue to bring more Johnny Bravo seasons! We continue to evaluate our DC Comics Animated Direct to Videos for Special Edition treatment.
(BrandonP) Are there any plans for more DVD releases of "Whose Line is it Anyway?" Specifically season 2, and if so, will there be more unaired material included?
(WarnerBros) Season 2, part 1 is out in stores as is Best of Whose Line featuring some of the best episodes from all seasons. Both releases are uncensored as is Season 1.
(KeithPaynter2) Welcome back WB! Sorry to be late to the chat, so I hope this hasn't been asked...is there any progress on The Censored Eleven? (Maybe as a Warner Archive?) Thx.
(WarnerBros) No updates at this time.
(SmithaP) Hi! I wanted to ask about The Pirates of Dark Water. Does Warner Bros. have any plans to release it to DVD, or otherwise revisit it, in the foreseeable future? Thousands of fans have been hoping for a DVD release for years, and it seems like it would receive a great reception when the new Pirates of Caribbean movie comes out next year. Thanks!
(WarnerBros) No plans at this time.
(MatthewS) With the return of "V" to television on ABC, will the original 1983 "V" mini-series and "V: The Final Battle" be released on Blu-ray Disc? Both were released in the 16:9 aspect ratio on DVD and both were shot on film, which could benefit from an HD transfer at the higher resolution Blu-ray offers. Bringing the original "V" mini-series to Blu-ray could be a great marketing tie-in when the new series eventually hits home video.
(WarnerBros) we are evaluating it. Remastering costs are high so there are no specific plans at this point.
(JasonT) Um, I was wondering if you have any plans to release The Mighty Orbots to DVD?
(WarnerBros) No plans at this time.
(Matt_D) Hi, I was eager to get the rest of the seasons of The Adventures of Superboy. Sadly, seasons 2 through 4 haven't been released yet. This show was more popular in the seasons that have yet to be released, and as this is one of the last few Superman shows that has yet to completely be released, when will we see the rest of the series on DVD? If not, why not?
(WarnerBros) Unfortunately, sales did not meet expectations so there are no future seasons planned. However, look for the animated Adventures of Superboy...coming in the future.
(Chris_H) Any plans for Growing Pains S2 & Perfect Strangers S3?
(WarnerBros) Good news on the Growing Pains front...we are looking at a potential release for 2011. No new updates on Perfect Strangers although we continue to evaluate the title
(Vivek_Bhat) Thank you my question is about ThunderCats, the 80s cartoon WB acquired from Rankin Bass. I'm interested about WBs plans for the property. Teletoon Retro in Canada has just picked up the original series and played a 12 hour marathon last night. There have been two licenses granted for a detailed line of collectible statues. What else is in store for the property, specifically is there a new animated show being considered?
(WarnerBros) The original series is out on DVD and we continue to explore new product configurations.
(NickGraham) Is the prognosis looking good for a fourth season of Night Court this time next year, and is there a reason for the seemingly arbitrary 75 minute run time on all of the (thus far awesome!) Warner Premiere animated DC movies that seem to be aimed at adults who wouldn't mind some extra length?
(WarnerBros) still early on Night Court Season 4 but definitely under consideration. Re: DCU movies...our research has shown that this is a good length but we've added our DC Showcase animated shorts (like The Spectre on Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths) that will provide you with more awesome DC action!
(KevinM) According to scuttlebutt, the Popeye series was put on hold due to the recession. Will we eventually see that resumed? Johnny Bravo is coming out in June. Will we see Two Stupid Dogs, Dexter's Lab or any other CN shows released in the CN hall of fame DVD series? And will we see pre-1953 Looney Tunes in the new Super Stars DVD's?
(WarnerBros) Regarding Popeye, you never know...we hear that there is a movie in development at Sony. Regarding Cartoon Network, we'll be releasing Courage the Cowardly Dog on July 20th! Please go out and buy so we can continue to bring you more Cartoon Network Hall of Fame classics! Regarding Looney Tunes, the 8/10 releases of Looney Tunes Superstars Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck will have some remastered pre-1953 shorts.
RossP Any chance of the rest of Shaggy and Scooby Doo: Get A Clue being released on DVD? Also, have you considered releasing Scooby Doo on Blu-Ray?
(WarnerBros) Shaggy and Scooby: Get A Clue Volume One is on dvd. There are no plans to release future volumes. We are evaluating bringing Scooby-Doo to Blu Ray.
(MarkS) Thanks could you elaborate on Viveks question about ThunderCats what “product configurations” are you evaluating and are there any licensing deals pending? Please provide as much detail as possible. Thanks, from the team at ThunderCatsLair.org

(WarnerBros) We've told you as much as we are able at this point but we appreciate your interest.
(Albert) Any chance on seeing the WB series "Jack & Bobby" on DVD in the future? It'd be great to see this series on DVD with new interviews of actors Matt Long and Logan Lerman. Also, since WB distributes BBC's "Doctor Who" on DVD, is there progress on the rights issues with Universal regarding the TV movie, since R2 is getting an SE later this year? Thanks!
(WarnerBros) No plans to release "Jack and Bobby" at this time. We can't comment on the Dr. Who rights issues.
(JeffG) I would like to add my voice in support for both Superboy Seasons 2-4 and Silverhawks (Vol. 2) - both already mentioned tonight. Maybe license those two titles out to a third-party like Shout Factory for release? My main question, however, is about the two seasons of TimeTrax that originally aired alongside Babylon 5 on PTEN. Any plans for a TimeTrax release?
(WarnerBros) we don't have any plans to release TimeTrax at this time.
(SteveW) Any chance that any of the Babylon 5 series (including Crusade) or TV Movies being made available on Blu-Ray? I know the org series was done on video but some/all of the movies should have been on film/HD (especially Lost Tales).
(WarnerBros) we've definitely considered releasing Babylon 5 on Blu Ray, however, there are some technical issues with the CGI that make this release difficult. We'll continue to investigate further in the event we're able to address it.
(AnthonyD) I was late so I'm not sure if these were mentioned. Any plans for further seasons of Mama's Family, Drew Carey Show or Murphy Brown?
(WarnerBros) At this point, Murphy Brown and Drew Carey are problematic due to high music costs. We're evaluating Mama's Family but no specific plans to share at this point.
(YoslavB) Any plans to release the missing Moral Orel season (2 and 3)? The third season really was a masterpiece and the Adult Swim DVD-on-Demand program doesn't ship to Canada. Also, will your deal with Viz help bringing anime to more locations?
(WarnerBros) No plans to release Moral Orel at this time. Our deal with Viz will absolutely bring anime to more retail locations.
(GregC) Can we expect to see any Yogi Bear DVD's coming out later this year with the upcoming Yogi Bear movie? What about Huckleberry Hound?
(WarnerBros) Yes, we are exploring new Yogi Bear DVDs timed to the upcoming theatrical release. Stay tuned for more details!
(AntonioLopez) I too was late to the chat, so I apologize if this was asked before. First of all, thank you all for your commitment to sharing your plans with the fan community. Are there any plans to release the Duck Dodgers TV series to DVD/Blu-ray or any of the DCAU TV series to Blu-ray? Thanks!
(WarnerBros) No plans at this time to release Duck Dodgers on DVD. Please clarify DCAU TV Series?
(AntonioLopez) DCAU as in Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series, Teen Titans, etc...
(WarnerBros) Yes, we are evaluating all DCAU series for Blu Ray.
(MatthewL) Any plans for the 1990 TV version of Treasure Island with Charlton Heston and Christian Bale?
(WarnerBros) no plans at this time but we're evaluating the title.
(MikeB) Now that Blu-ray is rapidly becoming the media format of choice, why are shows like One Tree Hill not released in Blu-ray. It even took OTH a long time to finally be released in widescreen even though it has been aired in widescreen for a long time. I only buy Blu-ray when I know that the source is HD 1080p23.976 (or 23.98PsF). Another vote for Time Trax!!!
(WarnerBros) we continue to build and expand on our tv on blu ray schedule. We don't feel the time is right to release One Tree Hill on blu ray at this point. Thank you for your interest and we'll take it under consideration.
(JennyW) I love the Lynda Carter live-action Wonder Woman series! Please consider bringing the show out on Blu-Ray, thanks! Maybe with some extra commentaries on key episodes. I would definitely re-buy it in HD. Thanks again, Warner Bros!
(WarnerBros) right now our focus is on current shows that have been shot in hi def.
(RogerM) From what I've seen on various cartoon message boards, Dexter's Lab seems to be the most wanted CN title on DVD. Why are you starting with less popular series (JB, Courage)?
(WarnerBros) We believe that Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog and Dexter's Lab are equally popular. Again, our hope is Cartoon Network's Hall of Fame will be a long continuing series.
(TonyPotoeski) To support the Yogi Bear Movie, any plans to release Huckleberry Hound Volume 2, Yogi's Ark Lark, Complete Sets of Yogi's Treasure Hunt, Yogi's Gang, Yogi's Space Race, The New Yogi Bear Show, Yogi's Movies: Yogi's Great Escape, Yogi Bear and The Magical Flight of The Spruce Goose, Yogi and The Invasion of The Space Bears
(WarnerBros) We do plan to release Yogi Bear content but can't comment on specifics at this time.
(GregB) I know youre not involved with Warner Archive, but is there any chance of shorter lived shows being released that way or some other burn-on-demand service?  Specifically wondering about "Search" (1972). Would also be interested in a trad.  release of that. Hoping for a 3rd Tiny Toons set sometime too! Any chance?
(WarnerBros) we can't confirm the specifics of Warner Archive but we have been looking at a number of short lived tv series as potential Warner Archive releases. We're happy to pass this information on to our colleagues.
(MattO) Any plans for further seasons of Third Watch (3-6) and Brimstone -complete series, if not would you consider licensing them to another company such as Shout Factory?
(WarnerBros) Music costs are very high on Third Watch Season 3. We're still looking to see if we can make that work. We don't currently have plans on Brimstone but we'll take a closer look.
(ArthurL) Any plans for “Race For Your Life, Charlie Brown on blu ray? Also, the blu ray of Terminator: The Sara Connor Chronicles does not allow switching to the commentary track on the fly nor will it display the subtitles if the commentary is playing. Can you please pass word to the people who author your blu rays to allow subtitles to display while a commentary is playing. Can you please pass word to the people who author your blu rays to allow subtitles to display while a commentary is playing.
(WarnerBros) We're evaluating the Peanuts library for blu ray. We'll definitely take a closer look at the Terminator issue and pass it along to the correct people.
(NathanC) What are the chances we will see the Pac-Man cartoon series on DVD down the road? He is an iconic video game character and video game cartoons tend to sell well
(WarnerBros) no plans at this time.
(TaylorD) TaylorD I got here late, so many apologies if this was asked. You guys have been great for releasing the Dallas seasons. Any word on releasing the TV movies? And any news on further Knots Landing releases? Thanks!
(WarnerBros) Yes! We do have plans to release the movies in a collection once the seasons are complete. We're still evaluating Knots Landing but don't have plans at this time.
(StevenL) Is there any chance of getting the Flintstones TV movies I Yabba Dabba Do & Hollyrock a Bye Baby on DVD?
(WarnerBros) no plans at this time.
(HimeK) Any plans for Flapjack/Chowder season sets? or at the very least new volumes?
(WarnerBros) no plans at this time.
(JasonC) Are there plans to finish up the animated Superman 1968 Filmation series on DVD? Also, that show was paired with an animated Batman series on CBS when it aired. Any plans for that 1968 Batman series? Finally, thank you for the continued Superfriends releases. I appreciate them!
(WarnerBros) a new Superfriends release will be coming out this year. If there's more classic DC Animated content...we'll put it out!
(RonEpstein) This next person deserves an introduction. He is one of the editors of the popular website TVSHOWSONDVD.COM. The one ...the only...David Lambert
(DavidLambert) First, a big THANK YOU from all the TVShowsOnDVD readers to WHV, for working out issues & getting shows onto DVD like Falcon Crest, Scarecrow & Mrs. King, Family Matters, more Night Court, more Fresh Prince, more Everwood and others. Fans appreciate it! Now we wonder if there will be similar efforts to bring out Freddy's Nightmares, Eight Is Enough, China Beach, Sisters, Alice, Spenser: For Hire, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, Shazam!, Logan's Run, Captain Caveman or Men In Trees? Any good word for fans of these shows?
(WarnerBros) Phew! I'm tired just thinking about that question. Many of these are under active consideration. I'd love to get China Beach out but music is extremely problematic but we're continuing to work at it. Some of these others are on our long list as well.
(JonnyM) Please release the remaining seasons of Ed Edd n Eddy on DVD! When is Johnny Bravo Seasons 2, 3, 4, and 5 going to be released on DVD and are they scheduled? Can they release Samurai Jack Feature Length Movie on DVD? Did Samurai Jack Seasons 1-4 sell very well?
(WarnerBros) We already answered your Johnny Bravo question tonight. We also received your email 20 minutes ago regarding Ed, Edd n Eddy. There aren't plans for E, E & E at this time. Samurai Jack Seasons 1-4 did well on DVD and we'll look into the feature length movie.
(scottyz) Are there any plans to release of the Linda Lavin series ALICE or the spinoff series FLO. If not, is there any chance of licensing these series (along with Knots Landing and The Drew Carey Show) to Shout Factory OR release them in the Warner Archives? Any plans for Friends on Blu-Ray? What is the delay on releasing the Knots Landing series?
(WarnerBros) Alice has been on our long list for some time. There were some issues with the masters. We wouldn't release a spinoff until we release the original series. We want to make as much of our content available in the best way possible so we are looking at various alternatives. We prefer to continue releasing these classics ourselves. Knots landing sales for Season 2 were less than expected which has prevented us from scheduling the next season release but as we stated before we're continuing to look at it. We hope to release Friends on Blu Ray but we cant share any further details at this point but its looking good ;)
(BryanR) I want to first echo the call to release the 1969 Batman with Robin Boy Wonder on DVD. Second, are there any plans to revist Super Bowl or other DVDs for Blu Ray? Particularly the Giants Super Bowl 42.
(WarnerBros) We won't be going back to old super bowls (go blue) but we will be releasing this year's game on blu ray (road to super bowl XLIV) on June 1. This will include all of the Saints playoff games as well as the super bowl.
(RonEpstein) Can I ask a related question? Is there any chance that Fox and Warner can work together to get the 60s Batman on DVD? This is the most requested show and for years there has been a stalemate situation in both studios being able to work together to get it out.
(WarnerBros) Thanks Ron, we agree that it would awesome to see this great series on dvd. It's a complicated situation for everyone involved.
(RonEpstein) It's a shame. Fans lose big time.
(GeriH) hi WB thanks for your time... any plans for Robot Chicken/Aqua Teen blu-rays?
(WarnerBros) No news at this time.
(TrondMM) The Macahans/How the West Was Won has recently been released on DVD in Scandinavia. Are there any plans for a US release? And, will season 1&2 of Big Bang Theory get a Blu-ray release? Finally, are there any plans to release the rest of Animaniacs? Thank you!
(WarnerBros) No plans at this time for any of these releases.
(Marqw) Hi I just wanted to know what are the chances of the dukes animated series being release on dvd and enos and also what is warners Dallas release timeframe is going to be will it be a long wait now that we fans are so close to finishing this series and mama family.
(WarnerBros) no plans for Dukes animated series or Enos. The end is near on Dallas. We expect to have the remaining Dallas seasons out by next year.
(ShawnE) Any plains for taz-mania on dvd?
(WarnerBros) No plans at this time in the US.
(JohnP) Please release John K.'s Ranger Smith shorts to promote the upcoming Yogi Bear movie. Also what happened to the Jetsons and the Zeta Project and will the They Might Be Giants video be included on the Courage the cowardly dog DVD? and release Tiny Toons: How I Spent My Vacation with full length audio commentary by Paul Dini, Sherri Stoner, & Tom Ruegger
(WarnerBros) we will keep this all in mind. thank you.
(ParkerClack) I was told that Harry O is a big time show in the UK. Any chance on a DVD release soon?
(WarnerBros) there are a number of wonderful 70's series in our library. However, there are no plans for Harry O at this time.
(MariaP) If a an animated show doesn't sell well in the market like The Real adventures of Jonny Quest, could think about selling it on your website instead so people like me can complete the series
(WarnerBros) Maria - thanks for the suggestion, we'll pass that idea on to our colleagues.
(WhitneyG) Any chance Baby Blues is under consideration for a release? P.S. Thanks for moving forward on Fresh Prince!
(WarnerBros) You are very welcome Whitney. Tell all your friends! There are no plans to release Baby Blues at this time.
(DanielC) I was happy to see Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle as part of SMC 1970s Volume 1. Are there any plans for Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle on DVD?
(WarnerBros) no stand alone dvd plans at this time.
(CoryS) Captain Planet... When will the power be ours on DVD? I won't even ask about Static Shock... ahem ;)
(WarnerBros) we're evaluating Captain Planet. We want the power to be YOURS.
(KacyS) I would also like to know if you have any DVD release planned for my personal favorite of your owned Christmas specials, "The Town Santa Forgot"; I feel it definitely deserves a Remastered Deluxe Edition like "Charlie Brown" and "The Grinch" got. Also, how about a 1990s Saturday Morning Cartoons collection that could feature some Kids' WB! stuff?
(WarnerBros) we're continuing to review holiday content that should be released as remastered deluxe editions. Regarding SMC 1990's, go out and get the 80's collection and we'll see what we can do!
(ChrisC) Great to see you back tonight Warner. Will you be including lossless audio on your future and past TV on BD? And I want to add another vote for a commercial DVD release for Time Trax - its ranked 66th on TVShowsOnDVD.
(WarnerBros) we don't currently have plans to include lossless audio but we have been looking into it.
(PatrickH) i. Are there any current plans to release season sets of Step By Step?
(WarnerBros) No plans at this time.
(DanaM) Good Evening and thanks for your supporting this forum, I was wondering if we will ever get a complete theatrical collection of Tom and Jerry, All the HB/Dietch? and Jones all in one collection, and also Popeye
(WarnerBros) we're reviewing all of the above.
(MichaelF) I was told it was mentioned earlier that Season 2, Part 1 of "Whose Line is it Anyway?" is in stores, but that has to be a mistake because it's not listed anywhere. Also, will Captain Planet ever be released?
(WarnerBros) sorry about that...our mistake. You are correct. Captain Planet is being evaluated for release, we answered this a bit ago.
(TimC) Any chance of a complete Tex Avery set at some point?
(WarnerBros) there's always a chance! In the meantime Droopy is available on DVD.
(Nicholas_Kramer) Since you got the license, is there any plans of releasing a disc or set of classic "Sesame Street" stuff for us older fans of the show?
(Warner Bros) classic Sesame Street content has already been released on dvd under "old school"
(Freddy_R) Hi, any plans for the 1980's tv series Love Sidney, 80's Puppy's Great/Further Adventures, or 1982 tv movie Don't Go to Sleep on DVD or DVR thru the archive? Thanks for the chat we appreciate it
(WarnerBros) No plans at this time for the above.
(EdwardC) My question is about Shazam! i hope too see it on dvd Remastered please please and  Smallville on Blu-ray 1-4
(WarnerBros) we are looking into going back and releasing Smallville on Blu Ray, unfortunately, there were some technical issues on Season 1 that we're trying to work thru. No updates on Shazam. Lots of new shows on DVD with blu ray releases coming this fall..stay tuned!
(paulyoung) are you planning on releasing more of the 1970s cartoons. I love to see shows like wait till your father gets home 2nd season, jabber jaw, speed buggy, new adventures of gilligan. Thanks for doing this wB
(WarnerBros) depending on the success of Saturday Morning Cartoons 1970's and 1980's...we'll be evaluating other 70's and 80's cartoons.
(Matty) any more Growing Pains or CHiPs? If not, could you offer those to Shout or Amazon M-O-D?
(WarnerBros) We answered these earlier. Yes to Growing Pains Season 2. No new seasons planned yet for CHiPs.
(Ron Epstein) I would like to take this opportunity to thank Amit, Rosemary, Melissa and "the team" at Warner Bros. Television and Animation.
(WarnerBros) Thanks to all of you for your continued interest and support! We really appreciate it! Good night, thanks everyone!
