The motherboard is a MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum utilizing a NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra Chipset.
It supports the following:
64bit AMD Athlon 64FX/64 processor (Socket 939).
3000+, 3200+, 3500+, 3800+, 4000+, FX53 and FX55 CPU speeds.
PCI Express X16/X4/X1 interface.
Two independent SATA controllers, for up to four drives.
10/100/1000 Ethernet connection.
Dual channel DDR 266/333/400 RAM using four 184-pin DDR DIMMs with a memory size up to 4GB.

Mine was built using the Silverstone LC10M HTPC/Media Center Case. Note the inputs on the side of the case for audio and video connections. Also included are 4 USB ports and VFD display on the front of the case. This case is solidly built and includes multiple fans for cooling.

Hauppauge MCE Video card. In this case I have the dual tuner version or model 500 MCE. Single tuner models are available. Also included is a remote that works with MCE. The IR receiver is plugged into the HTPC via a USB port.

Geforce 6600 128MB 128-bit DDR PCI-Express x16 Video Card. D-SUB, DVI and TV out.
Note: The model for this review has a video card fan and a Zalman fan for CPU cooling. 2 Parts Fusion DMS 501 standard build will ship with the following:

Passively cooled Geforce 6600 128MB 128-bit DDR PCI-Express x16 Video Card. D-SUB, DVI and TV out.

Nitrogon v.2.0 fanless CPU heatpipe.

This is a close up of the motherboard inputs and outputs. Here you can see the various inputs for your keyboard and mouse, Ethernet connections as well as multiple USB ports.
S/PDIF encompasses both coaxial and optical TosLink for direct digital connection to your receiver.

This a close up shot of the Hauppauge tuner card and the Gigabyte media card. Starting with the media card on the left you have DVI, D-SUB and TV-Out. The TV-Out is for connection to an included breakout cable with component, S-Video and composite outputs. The Hauppauge on the right has coax inputs for FM and TV, with standard connections for S-Video and Composite with L/R Audio inputs so you can hook up an external device such as a VCR.

This is a shot of the Zalman CPU cooler that came with my unit. You can also get this set up to have a Nitrogon SST-NT01 v2.0 Fanless Heatpipe CPU Cooler instead of this large cooler. The Zalman is virtually silent though and I like the idea of have a large fan cooling down the AMD.

Here you can see the various PCI slots, a side view of the Gigabyte media card with its own fan and a shot from the top of the Hauppauge. Just above the Zalman you will notice the RAM chipsets.

This is a shot of the dual layer DVD-R on top with the 200GB SATA HD just below it.

This picture shows you the outputs from the included breakout cable. Here you can plug in Component, S Video or Composite Video. Just not all at the same time. And as mentioned earlier if you utilize the Component outputs you will be limited to 480p on your monitor resolution if you want to watch a DVD.
